  4. I'm down for a pair of Side Hotplate ones (and some SST ones in grey-cutout vinyl too??) I already have the www.skylinesaustralia.com in light grey at the bottom of my 400R skirts... looks mad
  5. So an R34 Cooler has heaps LESS pressure drop than a R33 Cooler? Theoretically, putting a 34 cooler on a 33, you could wind the boost upto 12psi without giving the turbo a hard time ?
  6. My Question is: What's going to happen to the venue once that "round of f-nippon" is finished. Who's to say it will get used again ? Could just be another perry lakes/homebush sydney deal...purpose built for a few months then left as a ghost town..
  7. Ask Rev where he got his done heheh funny story. Fane, Like rev said, you wont notice a rwhp difference with pineapples, lightened flywheel or thermal wrap really.. it's more of a power curve/driveability thing...
  8. Dan, Most people have had good results with a FMIC and the Stock Turbo, maybe coz your IC was a reflection of yourself? ie. Dam Big and beefy A bigger cooler would have more lag....
  9. Paul, YOu know people buy kidneys/internal organs for large sums of cash! (read: 25k for a kidney!) now there's a gauranteed source of income.... until you run out of shit to sell..... mmm, embalmy! If im older and I don't need mine, im putting them on eBay!
  10. Hahah, Gary has been a wimp lately and hasn't raced coz his car is an auto You try and convince him
  11. *bows* Go buy the stuff first... You'll Need. Gearbox - Castrol VMX80 Shockproof (5L Containers) Diff Castrol LSX90 LSD Oil (Stinky as hell, but fun to play with) Coolant - And Green/blue/pink whatever the hell you like designed for alloy radiators. Engine Oil - I'd go either Full Synthetic 10W30 Mobil 1, or a Semi Synth in the same brand Oil Filter - Ryco Z145a Fuel Filter - Part number coming soon, i have it written down somewhere:) Spark Plugs - NGK BCP6RES (Gap them to 0.8mm) Tools - Spark Plug Remover, Feeler Gauge, 3/4" Drive Socket set (for gearbox & diff oil bungs) Various Screwdrivers, A Jack (trolley jack preferrable), few bricks/blocks of wood, Oil catch tray, and Fluid Pump to pump in Diff & Gear Oil.. There's not much to it really, but if you get stuck you can give me a call, I'd be more than happy to help
  12. werd to both
  13. Don't be knocking the train set! it shits me that the northern suburbs have had a train set for the last 10 years, and we've got plans for completiong in 2006! It's pathetic. As for teh GT track, it can blow me, I've heard so many rumours about this stuff now, I dont know what to believe...
  14. haha, Paul, yeah I got an email from bully about it, have posted it up in the event section....
  15. Niz, [email protected] spam away!
  16. Hey Paul, Yeah, i'm still here.. sorta... drifting in and out
  17. Redbook Value on it is $11k - 13K with 75-95,000kms... This is a 160,000kms Probably worth around $10k... here's hoping it costs more than that to get it fixed... Wonder how it will work, it's insured for $19k !?!? Anyone know?
  18. Yup. The excess is only like $150, there's no age excess as it was a not-at-fault claim But it'll take it's sweet time eh! Wholesale value of the car wouldn't be more than 12k I reckon anyway... 99 model with 160k' on the clock *sigh* If you actually look at the job in man hours, I shouldnt think it's take more than 4 solid days to fix... but panel shops are f*ckin dodgy and always take thier sweet time.. so give it 2 months!
  19. It's the other driver's fault. Mate's VT is insured, but other driver isn't. So the insurance company will come chasing him with a 10k+ bill!
  20. Yeah, it was a VT..... meh.... I'm suprised it came off rather well.. still prolly around $10k damage tho! Those Airbags are the stinkiest, worst things to have explode in your face... let me tell you! On the way home I was a little freaked out at oncoming car's coming around bends in the road... *phew*
  21. Not really driver error, just you couldn't see around the blind bend..... the road was single lane so that didn't help... driver is VERY skilled, he's actually a mate of ours... it's just one of those "shit happens" things... I've got some bruising from the seatbelt and a bit of a sore neck and raspy throat that tastes like airbag dust (still!) but other than that i'm fine....
  22. HA! Forgot to add it wasnt' my car! (thank god!) It was in my mates VT Commo..... and it was a head on collision with an old corrolla, coming around a blind bend I broke the seatbelt at the amount of force it took when we stopped! we were doing like 50, and the other guy was doing like 80... then BANG! the other car was a writeoff, the yobbodore is fine, but a little mashed!
  23. Yo all... I was in a car accident on the long weekend All I can say is thank f*ck for seatbelts and airbags!

    New R32 GTR

Nice Puchase Pete.... Werd up on the mechanical probs, throw some fold at it to get it fixed and you'll still have a cheap 32R ! Can't wait to see it on a cruise mate!
  25. I'd buy all the oils/supplies you need and do most of it yourself, but take it to a proper performance shop to do the timing belt Diff Oil, Gearbox Oil, Engine Oil, Coolant, Oil Filter, Fan Belt, Water Pump can all be done yourself.. Oh Yeah, Milan, try Bob Jane in Rocko for a good deal on Tyres
