my work brought in a 33 gtst x Garage Aqua track car from Japan with r34 n1 crank, rods and oversized pistons stroked the 25 to a 2.7lt its fitted with a RX6 made 355rwkw on flat out mode i.e 1.8 bar
Its super responsive span the semi slicks up in third without any problems on 1.2 bar.
the guy that bought it drifts it on 1 to 1.2 bar so just on 280 - 300rwkw plenty of power
Yo my 32's setups in my sig
the 24 ceffy is works car it was fairly stock apart from remap when it came into the country has had cooler and turbo put on
but excess boost (1.5 bar) has reduced the comp in cylinder 6 so its coming out for a rering
so either Im buying the whole car will a rering (if mine sells) or Huddy can buy just the motor
ps Huddy's ceffy is a track bitch so no V8 traffic lights grand prix
good plan ellie but the cost to source the 25 na head and then a 25 turbo bottom end would out way the postives I think you would only go that way if you already had some of the parts.
24's already running a remaped ecu Im sure it would be sold with the engine then you've just gotta check to make sure it's still suitable with any extra mods you do.
ps works ceffy only puts out 187rwkw my car puts out 230rwkw and I prefer the ceffy much better suited to daily driver
laggy peaky things are annoying to drive
um I though "cranks hard " was a good description
ok spools up like a sr i.e lots of torque down low just start breaking traction as soon as you put your foot down (this is with a larger i.e laggyier? turbo to)
I think 2.4 trys to keep close to stock bore and stroke ratio so it still likes to rev hard
best of both worlds
bump sorry but I only have slide pics on my pc
and my car is back up for grabs now that Ive fixed the gearbox and my boss is looking to sell his cefiro
otherwise I wouldnt be selling it
I bang the limiter in my 20 all night long at the Port G drfit sessions its a stock ecu but hits the limiter at 8,200 rpm another guy out there hits 8,800 rpm due to a short diff ratio
fmic
exhaust
fcd
walbro fuel pump
hks 2530
fuel press reg (although its not needed as last dyno tune they put it back to stock press)
have a look in the ceffy section under 2530 lag issues thread
go a 2530 Im happy with mine (now after all this time)
starts making boost at 2,800 now full boost(1.3 bar for me) at 3,500ish
could be a little sooner I tend to have to keep my eye's on the road when it opens up
sorry yep 17 base timing.
Seems lag issue for me was related to my el cheapo cooler pipe work not sealing properly.
were's all those "you wont get over 150rwkw on a stock ecu" guys now u nobs!
"Skylines understeer due to the great lump of cast iron Rb up the front. Just like your cefiro
The blitz 4 door r34 seems to be doing pretty well with its double wishbone
Refer above to what Sk said if there is any confusion "
hmmm dont have a ceffy as sig says I have 32 4 door cef is the bosses car
blitz 34 seems to have shallow slide entry angle's to offset understeering.... trust me Ive watched a lot of option vids
Im not confused justs looks like double wish is not really suit to slides I think sk was refer to it just being a good setup not that it is great for slides
see number of skylines not in D1 or BM or any other drift series
