Ok well I got my 18s before New Years so I had 'em for da 'nats cruise! Huge deep dish shadow chrome jobs, which so look the part. Now I am saving to get a 3" exahust turbo back, a pod air filter, a big front mount intercooler and a boost controler. Then we'll go up to 10 to 12 psi (damn ceramic turbo). Then no doubt I'll fry that turbo and get a big mother.... ohh I wish! I also ordered the plates YGT25T yesterday. I was surprised no one already had 'em! $412 on plastic plates 'cause they are an out of series Y plate. $1300 or something like that without the Y 'cause GT isn't my initials!

2RISMO: The Formula1 is pretty cheap, like $50 a night but you'd need to book like yesterday! Would everyone be happier with a cruise at like 6pm??

Why doesn't everyone meet in the car park at the National library by the lake??? We could then do a fat cruise through Civic and Braddon etc.....?????? Can someone PLEASE orgainise something? The nat's is like four days away people! I propose: 8:30pm at the National Library carpark

I will be in Canberra over the Nats so just let me know when and where and I'll be there. I went to see Jo and Skyline Performance in Mitchell today to get my car serviced. Nice guy, good service, and pretty reasonable prices.

Cold air and turbo good! Raining dirt, bloody annoying! I am new to the world of Skylines, just got my R33 Gts-t this week infact. Mines silver with the gunmetal grey at the bottom. Going to Tempe after new years to get some 18s. Till then it's the stockie rims! I love this site, it's great to be able to get so much info and help at the press of a key! Cheers guys!

Sorry, just read earlier post. Sounds like a good day was had by all. I have just got my self an R33. Stock as at the moment but in the new year (after I pay off Christmas debts!) I am going to get me some 18s, a 3" mandrel bent turbo back and a BOV. Does anyone wana organise a cruise mid to end of Jan?? I'd be keen just to get to know some other Skyline ppl in Canberra as I am new to the world of skylines. My last car was an Astra with 17s and before that I has a N13 Pulsar Sports.

Did you guys end up doing a cruise? Anything planned for January??

I have just bought an R33 and am getting my stereo gear put into it. Overtime I have heard many different people have their own opinions on how to mount subs. Facing out up against the back seat, facing in up against the back seat, on one side at the boot entrance facing in and out on the sides etc.... I currently have my gear in my Astra and I have the sub facing into the car up against the entrance to the boot and get pretty good base from this. However in my Astra I leave my ski hatch open. I noticed in the skyline that you can't fold the seat down and that the battery sits in a mid section between the boot and the back seat. Has anyone mounted a sub in this mid section and moved the battery and fuses into the boot? As far as putting the sub in the boot it's self does anyone have any idea on putting a port into the parcell shelf? I have a Pioneer head deck a Coustic 4 ch amp and a 12" Kicker sub. Thanks!
