  1. Thanks. I chickened out and just vacuumed around it. Not as thorough of a vacuum as I would have liked but it will do 😊
  2. Thank you! Would Kerosene work by any chance? It’s just that that’s what I already have at home …
  3. Also, do I need to disconnect the battery in case I activate the airbag sensor?
  4. Managed to get the plastics off relatively easily. But how do I remove the airbag cable?
  5. Thank you!!! I ended up getting 2 kg but they filled up a 5kg bucket. I got most of it off but there is still some left. What remains is kind of sticky. Not sure why I was unable to get it off. Where to from now? How do I remove the rest of it?
  6. In which direction ? I’m worried of breaking it?
  7. I’ve taken off the two bolts at the front, but what next?
  8. I pulled of the weather guard and this is now remaining. How do I remove this residue?
  9. Can anyone think of a valid reason behind this blob of blue tack in the bottom RHS corner of my side mirror? I’m tempted to pull it out but am worried the mirror might fall out…
  10. I’m considering buying a small paint brush and some black paint from cheap as chips and touching up the grill. Does this sound reasonable or is there a better (but still cheap) way?
  11. I am tempted to pressure clean the carpet mats and boot lining. Given that they are 25 years old, what are the chances of them disintegrating if I pressure clean them?
  12. Has anyone used this product and if so would you recommend? https://www.repco.com.au/en/car-care-panel/car-care/polish-restoration/bowden-s-own-happy-ending-sealant-1l-bohappy/p/A5465060
  13. What buffer/polish machine does everyone use and recommend?
  14. Instead of paying someone to machine cut and polish my car, I’m considering buying the machine and doing it myself. I already have the AutoGlym Resyn Polish. what machine do you recommend?
  15. I’d like to remove the weather guards. What do I use to remove these clips that are holding it?
  16. This is precisely what he said: “The eye picks up minor details so I'd start with some silicon spray first on the hoses to bring out some sheen”
  17. How much dry ice am I likely to need to remove the sound deadening?
  18. Someone just recommended I spray some silicone on the hoses inside the engine bay to give them some shine. Is this safe to do and if so what spray do you recommend?
  19. You've done an amazing job, Robzilla! Very neat!
  20. Someone just told me that factory R33 GT-R didn’t have sound deadening in the boot. Is this true? I’m considering removing the sound deadener with dry ice myself, and then paying someone to remove rust marks, paint with anti rust paint and reinstate the seam sealer. If I don’t need to reinstate sound deadening hopefully I can keep the cost down.
  21. How many hours or labour and material would you estimate for this to take/cost?
