Nevertheless I'm of course keen to update the topic when Racepace can provide more info, and if a mod thinks that my item is, um ... people buy skylines every day that come with totally unknown engines. Of all kinds. I have heard people occasionally blow up their rb26 and need a new engine? it isnt a dyno queen or drag billet build monster its just like one of the many 200 to 400kw ones running around. This engine is stock with n1 pistons and long nose crank and a $1500 oil pump and metal gasket, anything else is a plus, and without pulling it to pieces the wear can be verified, then they can call up racepace motorsport in melbourne and ask them to confirm they built it new. Their label is on the block after all. Shrug. where else and for what money can you buy a good n1 long block? not trying to be an ass, tell me because the few on yahoo auctions cost 1m yen+, but are in a terrible state. It is expensive now to pull together block head and sump from new let alone labor and time, even the cam cover set is $$$ now. ofc if after a while I get no queries, I will chase less money.

n1 pistons and whatever racepace were doing in 2009 for what they said at that time was their “stage 2” (my memory was “stage 1” but my old emails say “stage 2”). I think approx this attached but with a better oil pump, and their sump that can go around corners at 1g? i dont think they were doing forged pistons in 2009 tho. I have not got racepace to unearth a build yet, it is 13 years ago, however I have the email chain showing purchase for 14500 and it was built for a track racing customer of theirs called JFK. Whomever that is. or was. either/either ... its a good n1 motor with bugger all wear and nothing wrong with it and all I can say for sure is mark at unigroup or jim at tunehouse can verify it was running perfectly and the mechanic Terry N1 uses can also vouch it was running fine when he pulled it out and put it on the floor. and all three can verify the benign reason I am selling it. If it was “just” a good n1 motor with no real miles and a tomei pump and fancy sump and full new cam cover set is it mispriced? I think it should be more, tbh, but you tell me..

Long N1 block built by racepace in 2009 with their extended baffled sump and the typical dark red stock cam cover set - cam cover complete set is new old stock condition! very low kms. Stock head. Tomei big capacity oil pump. ATI balancer. Water pump. Cam gears. No Clutch. Sump can be on or off (see below). At minimum can sell long block with head & placeholder cams. + sump with racepace extended capacity mods if you want it + 4.11 front diff if you want it + r34 HKS big cam set (new) if you want it + 2530 turbo pair also low kms, with big dumps attached, if you want them + hks v-cam step 1 if you want it. + 800cc injector set if you want them It does not need to be opened between head and block unless you want to port the head. It is in perfect condition with n1 pistons balanced etc and low kms (circa 5000 only) ready for use. It was running perfectly a month ago as a couple of workshops can verify. $13k for long block.
