  1. Is the front subframe even mounted with bushings? can anyone confirm it? I can't even find normal bushings to replace the oem ones. (if there are any)
  2. Is there also a kit that does the same but on the front subframe? Or did you only do the rear end? Also, taking out the subframe(s) sounds like a good opportunity to get some Spoon rigid collars, I do need to do some more research on them tho.
  3. Wow didn't know this was a thing... perhaps this could be my solution! Since I wanted to renew all bushings anyways. I will take a better look at this mod. Thanks a lot @Dose Pipe Sutututu ! Good that you mention it, I'm currently saving up for one. After doing my research I think I will get the Nismo GT LSD Pro 1.5 way. Since I can't access my car right now I will measure it once I get the opportunity + alignment settings. Corner exit is not really stable, my guess is maybe the LSD will fix that.
  4. Okay so first off I don't have a lot of experience driving a lot of different cars fast. My car handles great, there is nothing weird going on handling wise (maybe a bit of bump steer). All I'm trying to do is make it handle as good as it could. The problem is I don't have anything to compare it to. So since my experience is lacking I'm reading online about other peoples (track)builds. And so my thought was "oh when you lower a car the roll center is off, so it needs to be corrected in order to make it handle better." Then I saw the kits are only available for R32-33-34 GT-R. Confirming these cars might need it. Hence my question how to correct it on a non-gtr Skyline. Perhaps my question should've been: Does my car need a roll center correction to make it handle better? Or: How to make an ER34 coupe faster around the track? (handling wise)
  5. A052: F:235/45/18 R:255/40/18 R888R: F:245/40/18 R:265/35/18 My next set would probably be A052 again, but with a smaller aspect ratio.
  6. F:235 R:255 I had R888R before in F:245 R:265. I kid you not, the Advans are wider than the Toyos. I think a 275 R888R would be about the same width as a 255 A052...
  7. Yes that's what I'm going for. I thought maybe correcting the roll center would make it even better, but I guess I was wrong. That is crazy!
  8. So if I understand your comments correctly, there is no need to correct the roll center. Thanks for letting me know. Also thank you for the extra tips! as for my tyre setup, I already run as much tire as I can fit in the stock guards. Yokohama Advan A052. 😏 It's not my daily car so I run them on the street as well. Works perfectly good for me!
  9. Suspension wise it's got coilovers, hicas delete, adjustable camber arms, adjustable pillowball tension rods, tension rod bar, sway bars, drop links, roll center corrected tie rod ends. Aero is still untouched. My intention is to build a good handling track inspired street car. Not too much power, just really good and precise handling. So yes, it is street driven but I will do the occasional trackday.
  10. Thanks for your reply. I cannot access the car right now to measure unfortunately. But my guess is that it dropped 5-8 cm from stock. I want to correct the roll center because I think even the slightest correction will help making the car handle better, since I want to do more track events with the car. If not please correct me.
  11. Hello! I want to correct the roll center on my 1998 ER34. When looking online, all I can find is roll center corrected parts for GT-R only. I know extended ball joints are a thing, would this work? The problem here is, I can find them for the front side only. Also, I know there are adjustable lower control arms available that correct the roll center but they are a bit expensive and also only for the front side I believe? Can someone help me please? I can't be the only one that wants/has corrected roll center on a non-gtr R34. Thanks
  12. Got my new wheels and tires! Wheels: Work Emotion ZR10 (front: 18x8.5J +32 rear: 18x9.5J +30) Tires: Toyo Proxes R888R (front: 245/40 rear: 265/35) Car: 1998 R34 GT-T coupe with stock fenders, lowered on coilovers. Camber: front: -2.2° rear: -2.5° I will reduce camber on the rear to about -1° or -1.5° soon. I hope this can help someone. Fitment is perfect I would say. Thanks to everyone on this thread for your info, experiences and helping me choose the right sizes. For those interested in my built, follow me on Instagram @r34.bryan 🤙
  13. Wow, thank you so much for the effort!! ?
  14. You will be good @KillmeImhere @ob1 I compared your front setup to mine on willtheyfit.com and it says my rim will be 11.4mm closer to the strut. Do you reckon you still have that space left in the front? If i go for a 8.5 instead of 9 in the front my rim will be 5mm closer to the strut compared to yours. That will probably fit, But i'd rather have the 9's for the more aggressive look.
  15. @ob1 thanks for the clear pics. Also that's a sick colour!
  16. Thanks! in the meanwhile I found another set of rims, which come in different offset. I think I wil go for this setup: car: r34 gtt coupe w/ stock fenders front: 18x9 +35 with 245/40 tyres rear: 18x9.5 +35 with 265/35 tyres The car is stock atm but I will lower it a bit with coilovers before I change the wheel & tyre setup. This setup will probably fit right?
  17. Thank you! 9j +32 on the front it is. If I put a 255/40 on it would I have any issues with clearance or rubbing? I want to keep the fenders stock without rolling them. Would a 245/40 be safer?
  18. Alright so after reading this entire tread again and comparing a lot of setups on willtheyfit.com I think I found the right setup, if not please tell me. car: r34 gtt w/ stock fenders front: 18x9 +32 with 255/40 tyres rear: 18x9.5 +35 with 265/35 tyres After comparing so many setups I'm pretty sure the rear will fit. But I'm not 100% sure about the fronts. Is is better to run 18x8.5 + 32? Or will the 9j +32 in the front fit? Can anyone confirm this? also do I need to roll fenders? Thanks!
  19. Good find. Propably can't buy them anywhere ?. What do you think of wedssport tc105x 18x9 +32 (255/40) all round? Too big in the front maybe? Maybe an other size of these? http://wedssport.jp/products/english/spectable/tc105x.pdf
  20. Thanks for the replies. Think I will go for Front: 18x8.5 +44 (245/40) Rear: 18x9.5 +40 (265/35) I've compared this setup to some others and I think it will look good and clears fine. I know +40 and +44 may seem like a high offset, but the rims I want jump from +22 to +40 on the 9.5j and +44 is minimum on 8.5j. Since the +22 will poke out I think the higher offsets will be better. I still need to measure for clearance on the suspension tho. But like I said I've compared this setup to several others in this forum and it seems to fit fine.
  21. Thanks for the info. Would you reckon the same setup with +40 offset will fit? Or do I need to go to 18x8.5 in the front?
  22. Hi, does anyone know if a 18x9.5 +22 265/35 square setup will fit a r34 gtt coupe? I'm looking for a set of SSR GTX01 and I would like to run this size for the concave look. I don't like streched tires so thats why i chose 265/35 on a 9.5j Hope anyone can help me. Thanks!
