  1. not on my car ofcourse, but hot4's conducted a dyno test on a stock R33 and was proven 4rwkw gain. Do a search on grounding wire kit. Others did the same and also gain..
  2. you're going to spray it anyway so there will be some discolouration involved.
  3. Hey All, Just got myself a set of earthing kit and was wondering how to properly install it. It came with 5 copper blue wires different sizes, a bracket and some bolts. I was just experimenting around with it but not 100% sure where to connect it to. The bracket is the center piece with 3 holes to fit the bolts. Ok, this is what ive done. - 1 wire connect to bracket to alternator - 2 wires connect to bracket to engine - 1 wire connect to chasis of the car - 1 wire going to connect to starter motor but not exactly sure where abouts is it located in the engine bay. (Any pics of the starter motor would be great) Anyway, that is what i have done. Supposingly will gain 4rwkw just from this grounding kit proven. Is this the correct way to install it? any help would be great!
  4. I use metho to strip the plastic coating.
  5. also remember the base of the ciggie light has 2 peices. a larger black bit and the metal silver base. take the black bit off first then use the screw driver with the clips.
  6. @pred: you do have some spare time up in qld don't ya? Thanks Duncan!
  7. there should be 2 small plastic clips which holds the base of the ciggie lighter. get a small flathead screw driver and push it in.. the whole thing should slide off.

  23. no problems my friend. - Take out the plastic around the steering wheel holder. It should be hold down by 6 screws. - Take out the ashtray then you should see 2 screws, undo them and the console around the gear stick should come out quite easily. - Undo 3 bolts above the ashtray to take the main console surroundings. It should hold down by clips. - Undo all electricals. - Undo dash plastic Then it should look like from the pic i have attached:
