  1. I had a strut bar and 2 sway bars, front n rear for my proton back in malaysia...killer handling after that!! get em if u find them...I've been meaning to do the same to my R33. Can't find the parts tho :D

    Do the sway bars for an R33 dip down to the ground a little? cos mine did...they were evo sway bars. height above the road was a little less than 2 inches. scratched it countless times.

    But seriously, the car became a speed machine cos I could just fly around corners and the chassis barely rolled or did anything to slow it down.

  2. dunno if this is the best place to ask, but here goes...

    My friend's S14 is jerking like hell on every gear change after about 3500-4000 RPM. I drove it myself yesterday to see what he meant. Basically, that's all it is...a jerking that doesn't really allow the engine to go up to 5000 or 6000 RPMs. He has taken it to a few places and they've said a number of different things ranging from broken hydraulic lifters to oil clogs.

    Can anyone suggest any other possible faults an SR20DET could go through? The car used to make 315rwhp, but all the good stuff had been taken out prior to him getting married. The car only has a cat back exhaust and an HKS bov left, plus the turbo. We're taking the car to my tuner later this week, but would like to know beforehand what it may be.

    any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

    I've been hearing alot of good things about gavin as far as tuning and fitting apexi products go.

    the price on that fit for warrick sounds very cheap though...but i got an s-afc and a evc3 tuned for 450, not fitted tho

    just wondering where Gavin Wood Autotech is...I know it's in Labrador, but I haven't found it when i was over there. He tuned my S-AFC a while back using Craig Dyson's dyno, n I never got the chance to thank him. Wanted to go see him about a number of future mods. I believe his shop is somewhere on captain cook drive, but if someone can point me in the right direction, that would be great.

  5. got a normal one done at revolution racegear for $320...wasn't expecting that, but cos of timing belts, blowoff valve relocation (dunno why) and what not, it went up that high. And that was for a normal 'every 5000km' service.

    been looking at fitting a malpassi fuel regulator into my car...cos it looks cool n all. Now I need to know what it actually does :(

    don't really wanna waste the time n money on it if it won't benefit.

    So yea, what's it for? a few friends of mine have it on their rotary engines n they won't say what it'll do.

    In the process of buying some slotted rotors, for obvious reasons...anyway, my stock rotors squeak like a bit**! so before I go buy that anti squeak fluid stuff, I wanna check whether it may be easier just to leave it until the new rotors go on.

    The pads were replaced 8 weeks ago, and rotors machined...started squeaking abt 3 weeks ago. performance is still great, but the noise the little b**&ards make is REALLY getting to me.

  8. man, I got flashed the other day too doing 110...haven't received any letter, n that was 3 weeks ago...I thought something was up...cheeky cops! That would've been ticket number 4 since january...lucky i use an international licence.

    As for the usual cruise around surfers and the bwcp, I've quit that scene a long time ago. It's just plain dangerous. My friends still go, but with the amount of hoon articles that pop up on monday morning in the bulletin, it kills the mood...not to mention the roadblocks...first weekend I had my car i met a bp coomera roadblock...scares me still how many cops there were that night.

  9. Hi guys,

    I'm in the middle of deciding how to upgrade my gtst's performance, and number of options have come up over the last few months...currently i am chasing a fmic before anything else happens, but after that, i dunno wut i could do to the car and would like a few ideas.

    right now the car has a hi-flowed T03/T04 hybrid turbo, complete turbo back exhaust, pod filter, stock cooler, S-AFC, EVC 3 boost controller.

    It managed to make 200rwkw at 15psi of boost after tuning the S-AFC (comes to abt 270rwhp).

    Could anyone gimme an idea of wut sort of power this car could make once a fmic is installed? The car would probably be running at 10psi most of the time, or maybe even stock...I just want to know wut sorta power I would be making. If it feels sufficient, I may call it quits as far as performance goes, and concentrate on the suspension and brakes like a good boy.

    Hypothetically, a budget of around 4k-5k would be do-able after the fmic is installed...would take a while, but do-able...would like to know wut could be done with this money.

    I have more in-depth questions, but will post them once opinions have been made regarding these questions first.

    Please feel free to talk at length, then everyone can benefit from the know-how
