I was there since about 9-9.30, i actually thought it was going to be a protest, this was before the cops blocked off Princess Hwy. I got through to be greeted by a crowd of drunk guys who split a path for me and only sports/modified cars. All other cars were banged on/scared away. Though it started quite peaceful, people just standing around, drinking, talking i really didn't see anything too wrong, a lot of angry people who really want easternats back on... the more cops that came the angrier and more ballsy people got. The cops really didn't do anything the entire night, i saw people dacking themselves infront of cop cars and i think its more the fact they couldn't do anything and if they tried they would be swarmed by thousands of drunk, drug and rage filled people. I went hoping to see a lot of sensible support, to show how serious things like this means to us, how important one event is when we don't have much options for such things. Having sports and high powered cars is great, but we don't get to use them... Once these morons started destroying things i stopped my support and left towards Sandown where i was greeted by two drunk fellas who were yelling "ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME?". They walked up to me and gave me a heap of attitude, then called me a "f**king gook" when i told him to relax. But nah... cars are more important than protection of people. All those cops were there as a scare tactic? It didn't work, i just hope that because of stupid actions and the attention from last night, people around melbourne didn't go without help from police. Bad enough this place has turned to absolute shit the last few years, now we are doing riots. If your going to protest people, don't drink, don't get high and don't have attitude. Sigh a bloody petition like normal people.

Does the other system your putting it in have the same OS as your original? Edit: Your new system runs a different one to that which is on the hard drive? That's the only thing i can think of without saying your hard drives are just gone. This happened to me with my old 80gb HDD. The problem originally was me running XP Pro on the hard drive and trying to put it in a Vista computer so they didnt communicate and i couldnt get it working. So that could be it?

So i am in Melbourne. I bought my R34 GT 1998 model about 4-5 months ago. Have not had a single problem till a couple weeks ago. My engine malfunction indicator light turns on randomly while i am driving - which worried me obviously. The car sometimes lost power while accelerating and also felt like it was going to stall on red lights (semi automatic so in no way should it happen). I took it down to Rod Hines for a check up, their scanner picked up a Primary Coil pack issue (something like Error 21). Told me he found guys who can fix it, they were down in Clayton, called Motorware. So i took the car to them, left it their for a day and they told me it was the secondary coil pack and it needed replacing. I left the car with them, he calls me the next day and tells me its not the coil pack its the camshaft sensor. So he went into the engine for no reason. (this still cost me $100 for labor) But he told me it would do no harm not to change the sensor. Still drivable and wont do any form of damage to the engine. Before i took it to any mechanics i had checked all seals, oils, valves and intake for any problems and everything is tip top. So after i got my car back from Motorware it seemed fine, he told me it will cost $700 from dealer to replace the sensor. This was 2-3 days ago. Today i got in my car to go to JB and on my way out, my car sounded like a WRX, heavy pounding sound coming from my exhaust in burst. BOF BOF BOF BOF BOF, when i accelerate this just gets louder but it feels VERY heavy to accel. My malfunction light now stays on 100% of the time. Bursts of heat and a bit of a burning smell come from exhaust with each BOF instead of a straight consecutive noise like normal. So can anyone give some insight on what the hell is going on? It's really starting to bother me =[

Yeah he does have a nice selection atm, i was also looking into one of his R34s. I just had a car accident and am desperate to buy new car but dont want to see too desperate, i will take your advice thanks mate =] Much appreciated.

I asked you a question i didn't state it. THE ONLY IMPORTANT PIECE OF INFORMATION TO READ: To sum this up, your saying if it has a full exhaust system, air intake blah blah blah but does NOT have a turbo, its legal for p platers? I am not understanding your argument against me? I am saying that any modification is illegal for any p plater that is not on power to weight laws and >CANT< have ANY modification. Call Vic Roads and ask them as i used to. They will give you a spank and a lolly pop and send you on your way. ANYTHING that increases air flow, increases performance simple stuff. Charles nah your not allowed to change the stock air intake as it does improve the cars performance, even by that tiny bit. But two thumbs up for supplying the stock parts. A true salesman =] Hope you get this one sold, and enjoying the free bumps =p

I really don't think you read what i said... almost every FS car states "P Plate Legal" because its N/a. I am saying its not Legal because its N/a, even the smallest modification is illegal. A lot of people aren't firmiliar with the P Plate laws now. It's not NO TURBO's. It's NO Modifications what so ever. Big chrome Pod Filter = no no. I guess nobody cares about P Platers enough to bother with that. This year ended the power to weight P Platers. Nice clean looking car, good luck with sale Charles =]

Going to agree with him, i doubt any states are left without new p plater laws. There is no more power to weight either... well at least for Victoria i am sure. We have no modification of any sort, i was close to purchasing a series 2 RX7 with a 13b and had to make 100% sure that it wasn't considered as a modification.
