  1. They used to hang people for stealing horses Hope you able to get it back soon
  2. If only Brock had forked out the extra $10k for an SS at the time, then this car would be worth something
  3. Yeah good luck out there! Will be good to see a mighty GTST going harder than the GTRs
  4. Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
  5. I started removing the tank a while back with the intent to give it a proper clean. Got to a bolt that I couldn't undo completely due to a diff being in the way, so just said f**k it and siphoned the gluggy old fuel out and called it a day. Looking it the tank it looks less corroded than the one in the pics for that billet hanger from Frenchy's anyway. Isn't it the fuel filters job to worry about this stuff? I scraped off most the crusty shit of the hanger but will give it another go before reinstall coz maybe the fuel and return pipes are also full of gunk
  6. Thanks GTSBoy, much easier to work with it now it's free!
  7. Here's a pic of the damn thing
  8. Have pulled the fuel pump hanger out of the tank, wires all look good and still connected. Plenty of old dried up fuel caked on everything. i got a new DW200 pump to replace the old one, thought it was a good idea while I've got everything out. What's the trick to getting the blue fuel pump harness disconnected from the boot floor? Just rip it out?
  9. Looks like Honda asked AI to draw them a sporty coupe and that's what it came out with. Amazed the side profile can simultaneously look just like Z but also like shit. Glad to see Japanese two door sports cars still have future though...hanging out for that S16 Silvia which Nissan surely have waiting in the wings
  10. Covers most of the above points really. There's a few exceptions but most just see driving as an irritating but necessary task they must complete if they want to get anywhere on time. Also see it as a good time to show their awesome multi-tasking abilities on their mobile and/or doing their makeup.
  11. Thanks heaps Duncan and GTSBoy. I'll get my old man to sit in the driver's seat and turn it on and off while I test with the meter. Or maybe other way round, depending on whether he remembers where his glasses got to
  12. All this talk about fuel and fancy ECUs, meanwhile my poor old R32 has neither.... When the ignition is turned on, should there be power running o the fuel pump constantly or just for the few seconds it usually takes to prime the pump? About to go have another look at it, have watched some YouTube vids on how to use a multimeter and looked at some wiring diagrams but really have NFI what I'm looking for because electricity is invisible
  13. That Fuji Dynamics sign is giving me Costco vibes
  14. Had another look at the car and I noticed the fuel pump isn't priming on ignition. I'd taken out the pump from the boot to siphon out the old fuel, so maybe I've knocked something loose or broken a wire putting things back together. Will go back with a multimeter and try to work out what's stuffed. Kinda hoping it's the pump itself thats gone so I can upgrade it
  15. Quick update, finally got an hour or two on a weekend where there wasn't shit weather, no sick kids, people visiting our house or had to work. Visited me old folks and the skyline...dropped $10 of 98 in the tank and a brand new SCA shitter battery in. Cranked over a bunch of times but didn't fire up....pretty sure it's not getting any fuel. Gonna try some of the stuff suggested above, next time I make it over there.
