  1. this is how i did it in my r32 i have a greddy catch can i made my own 'bracket' out of this metal thingy that your guttering up works a treat and used to have it cliped around my battery but i have to turn it around and couldnt use the bracket dodgey! so i ended up shortening my 'bracket' and pot riveting it to the fuse box jigger above the battery as you can see ive followed sydneykids instructions and i have the full plumb back. cheers. ps sorry about the dodgey phone pics!
  2. id say a vacume hose then just put it through the fire wall and to the hose that connects to the plenium, do search around the net for english instructions its not the timer that cogs gave you the link for is it i dont think it is... is it the black one??
  3. hmm i dont remember any seal lol is it like a sticker to show it hasnt been tampered with kind of thing? i wouldnt worry though look how many people have put pods on i dont think that seal worried them lol! as for the petrol side i know when you put high flow panel filters on the give you better Economy but i doubt it would make that much difference.
  4. hmm i think he may have really stuffed up because the auto timer should work anyway..? also its a bit of a wank item it over does it like i could drive just normal home about 30km no hammering and it will be at 6mins!! you only need like a 1 min and the boost gauge has me stumped maybe you have to run some wires to the ecu i spose he has the hard part out of the way if you just have a look through the instructions you might be able to figure out what wire goes to the ecu to make those features work and that is very expensive for a turbo timer to be installed i got quoted 40bux!! also you'll need to have a look around on the net for a ecu pin out for your car cheers!
  5. hmm i love the jap brand exhausts but i dont really think you budget is there for a full jap system maybe x force is the go for you, going from what ive spent on my exhaust 1000 wouldnt get close and from other friends systems too they where anywhere near 1000, for instance just my cat back cost 950 its a blitz and its excellent the only thing i would maybe choose over it would be a trust system one of there racing ones then, you still have to add the cost of high flow cat front and dump pipe onto that!
  6. i understand wat you mean on the inside of the air box where the nuts are welded is like a funnel to the afm and yes those bolts are hard to get off sooo what you do is at the end of the afm where it joints to the rubber pipe that goes to the turbo there is one of those round jigglers that you screw to do up undo that and unclip the afm unscrew the bottom of the airbox and take the whole lot out and undo the afm that way easy! remember the apexi filters have no joiners just screw straight to the afm! lol remembering thread from last week feew! cheers simon
