just bought my missus an evo 7 as a daily driver, only reason we went a 7 over the 6.5 was the suspension on the 6.5 was too solid for a daily driver, the 7 is perfect. As for fuel i presume they'd be roughly the same, we get 10L/100kms and thats not just babying it. bang for buck they are awesome.

hard to explain til you've actually driven one, i guess its like driving a car on rails.

definitely dont feel bad, love the fact most people will think its just another ricey lancer!

the missus will be driving it everyday for work so it wont get too heavily modded, probably just and exhaust and rims and maybe a remap down the track!

i still have an rb though chef, haha! my nik on evo oz isn't mr_rbman though!

i guess i'd better add some pics from the weekend! used a tank of fuel (only has a 40/45L tank) did 10L/100kms and half that driving was certainly spirited. I'm a Nissan boy at heart and think i always will be but this car is amazing. Its stock as a rock and would beat my 250+rwkw skyline with lots of suspension mods through the hills! Sorry about the quality of pics, they were taken on just a 2mp camera phone.

P1 Buddy Club Rims. 16x7.5 (+32 offset) all round! Bought these to use as track rims but they don't clear the brembo's and i don't want to use spacers. they are in extremely good condition. pretty good offsets for a street car with a 16" rim. I have a full set of semi slicks too that can be included for the right price, they have been used quite a bit but will still have a few track days left in them, from memory they are advan a408's??? $500 for the rims with no tires. $200 for the slicks. $650 for the lot. Picked this up from the toll depot today. The missus has been in need of a car for quite a while now but for many reasons we haven't been able to afford what we wanted. We'd finally paid off what we needed to and agreed on the car you see, this in itself took quite a while as we all know what women are like. Its a 2001 Mitsubishi Evo VII Its stock as a rock and goes like a cut snake, for a stock car it handles and goes so well. I only have pics at the moment from when it was in Japan but i'll add some fresh ones this weekend. I'm going to trial fit the rims from the skyline and see how they look tomorrow. The skyline is still for sale too if anyone is interested!

its stock as a rock and has been complied in QLD, its an evo 7 pick it up tomorrow, just have to get it from the depot in dry creek to regency for the id inspection/rego. can't wait!
