is someone able to tell me why its only the R32 power Fc's that r more expensive? i mean RB20DET would have to be one of the most common nissan engines around so y so much more expensive?

get an apexi power fc, easy to tune! i don't know anyone with a microtech that has been successful with tuning on a jap car!

as the title says i have an n/a RB30 bottom end for sale that has already been dis-assembled. I was using it for a twin cam conversion but picked up one recently already done pretty cheap so this is now for sale. Everything is in pretty good condition and the wrecker i got it off said it had done 168,000kms but it looks like its been reconditioned since then. $200

nah its built for an RB31DET not a turbo bottom end as such, as long as i get the right head gasket the compression should be around the 8.5:1 which is what i'm after! the pistons are na pistons but they have also been ceramic coated too and seeing as i'm only after an absolute maximum of 300rwkw's i think i won't have anything to worry about with this bottom end, most of my money i intend on using for tuning!

nah i'm using an RB25DE head, easiest and cheapest way!

is this power figures for your RB31DET? i'm presuming your engine is fully standard aswell as your turbo? how different is yours to joel's?

thanks guys. thats what i wanted to hear. the guy has offered me it for $750 so i'm going to go pick it up Tuesday And by the way the pistons are 'HYPER TECH' think i've heard of them before!

OK guys, i've been given an oppurtunity to get what i think is a pretty cheap RB31DET bottom end (block). What i'm asking is the maximum any of you guys would pay for this, here are the specs: -VL RB30 NA Block, deck has been honed and the bores have been made 20 thou oversize for the bigger pistons (3.1Litre) -Hypa-tech pistons brand new and 20 thou over size (makes it a 3060cc I believe) Their semi-forged and ceramic coated -Rods are standard but have been shot peened and balanced to make them all the same weight etc. -Crank is standard but has been ground and balanced. -Block has been grub screwed for strength. -Has all new Welch plugs etc and all new bearings -All the oil and water galleries have been cleaned and the oil galleries have been modified for better use for turbo's? (not sure on that one either) -ALL it needs is an oil pump, water pump, sump and head obviously which i already have to complete the bottom end, everything is together and has all been done by a reputable engine builder here in Adelaide. So my question is how much would you pay and any other comments are more than welcome!

ye that was a mis-post, they defected me for upper control arm bushes and warned me about my lower radius rod bushes, got them mixed up sorry! MattR, if you have the 8 bushes i am after brand new then i will definitiely be interested!

i had one on my VLT and its in the shed so you can have it if there the same fit!

i've gone from a pod to the air box recently and personally it made stuff all differnece. the only thing i noticed was a little less response with the air box now in place!
