yep we got optimax here atm, but i use bp ultimate. I replied to your thread on boostcruising. Why doesn't your mechanic advise using Ultimate?

Couple questions guys, Could someone explain to me what to feel/listen/watch for if a car is pinging. I have no idea if my car is doing it or not. Some info would be good. Secondly, I recently had a hole in my vacuum line from the actuator and consequently the boost was uncontrolled, until i discovered and fixed the problem. I only hit boost like this a handful of times. Now i just want to reset my ECU just so the car can re-learn my driving style etc. Is it ok to do no matter if your car is modded or not? My car's ECU has never been reset while i've had it. Regards, Scott.
