  1. having never been involved in a car crash until today (not my fault) prahaps i could get you all to share your first crash/incident with the rest of us.

now that i am almost garanteed not to have my car back for a month, i need something to keep me entertained.

my previosly undamaged, near perfect 32 now sports a new areo package courtesy of the charade imprint left after being smooshed by said charade travelling at about 70 ks while i was stopped. passenger rear 1/4 now rear 1/8 with a nice rippled pattern where it buckled around the tyre arch. very decorative.    :cuss:

very glad he had insurance, his charade written off ha ha ha

anyone know of a good panelbeater western suburbs of brisbane. i have no idea where to start.

Sorry to hear dude. Try doing a search in the QLD section or posting up a thread in there.

    Cheers,

    Scott

  2. Hmmm, this thread is interesting

I have always thought my turbo was a HKS GT2510. Due to the CHRA tag being un-helpful (no numbers that meant much) I have always taken the sellers (JMS) and the installers ( Tilbrooks ) word for it. Also has a HKS 1bar acuator (although it only gets it to 0.9bar :) ) and also has a cast HKS dump pipe

It bolts on, and is definatley a HKS 25 series from the housings etc, but looking a MM2deaths post, how you say full boost is at 3500rpm, I am now thinking differant

Mine makes 200rwkw at 0.9 bar, and full boost is from about 4500-4800rpm and pulls really well from there to the rev limit at 8200 rpm (re-mapped chip)

Any idea's? I am now thinking 2530 or 2535 perhaps?

    Chris

Does the front look like this?

  3. It says under the bonnet 15deg BTDC @850rpm. I thought it was 650 as well...hrmm

Yeah when i put the CAS back on i set it to roughly the middle and when i started the car and let it warm up it came down to 20deg, so i had to adjust the CAS a little. I'll see how she drives today. :)

    Cheers,

    Scott

  4. Yep all good now wrxhoon.

Timing is now at 17deg, which is a little more retarded than with the old belt on (I marked the CAS before i took it apart).

Thanks for all the help i really appreciate it. I learnt alot about my car in the process. :(

I will take it for a drive tomorrow and see how she goes.

    Regards,

    Scott
