Definately rice. What im trying to get at is "whats the point?" if u want looks get a BMW or some other poser mobile. If u want a performance car y bother working on the outside when the inside is where it counts. I have noticed that i get more look form the ladies when i am driving the Jeep Wrangler then i do when im driving my car and thats a good thing. If i had neons and "im a ricer" written all over it i would prolly get the looks up the wazzoo. My point is this: U dont see ppl buying ferraris and stickin wings and stuff all over em because they are built to perform while stock. The 'line is top of its class and u dont need any of that crap on the outside as it provides absolutley no benefit at all to ure performance. Friend of mine (commodore goon at heart) was at the hat cruz the other nite. He said and i quote "man so many of those cars are covered in stickers and stuff i reckon Gradenko is the classiest lookin of the lot" Now while i dont nessacarily agree with that, seeing as i barely even notice the outside of a car and believe it whats inside that counts, it provides a good insight of what ure average goon thinks.

Yep sure is Doesnt improve performance of car and cost u time and money. And y the hell would u buy a gts anyway??? they are heavy and underpowered y not get a decent n/a car instead? IMHO this is once again just for show. I wont go as far as to say every gts owner is a ricer but i did think it at one time. Note: dont shoot me down that what the thread is for:)

Just get good at using a lassoo(sp) the u dont have to damage the car at all.

Yep u never know. My dream car (apart from the supra of course) is a vt with cop rims and semi dark tint and ill wear a blue shirt all the time and look alot like a cop and go around scaring the crap out of ppl like us. I could alos learn how to take bribes but i think u need to be govt trained to do that well:lol:

IMHO this is what u should do. Now im assuming that u have had ure lic for a few years but have never had a manual to drive. Look in ure auto trader or sumfin for an 84 corrolla (ke 30 i think) then take it down to ure local 'private road' and friggin kill it!!!! Learn how to slide and know what the car feels like while sideways and slippin and spining all over the place. Sure it has no lsd but it is rwd and the chassis is the same as the late great ae86 so it handles rather well. Put out a couple of cones and try going round corners and holding the slide (wet days only as its not exactly a powerhouse) Basically learn how to deal with a car under harsh conditions and then when u get ure GTR and go round a corner and the back end decides it wants to do sumfin else u wont panic and start doin silly things to try and control it as u will know what is going on. Experience is priceless!!!!! dam im drooling just thinkin about this :drool:

Turbo timer cant be reset one the key has left the ignition so that cant really happen plus u cant really get very far in 1 minute at idle.

Need i say more eh Gradenko? Yeh those stickers really suck. It used to be a badge of honor in the early days but then all the ricers started goin at it so whats the point anymore? It the same IMHO as writing 'my car is fast' on the side door and driving a stock excel, what tools.:lol:

IMHO any additions that do not enhance the performance or basic operation of the car and/or driving experience is rice eg anything that takes time and effort an does nothing but make the car "look" different (does not include restoring of stock appearance)

Mine will run while u are out of the car and the alarm is on and armed. If u try and step on the throttle it will turn off the engine right away but u can run it on idle but its easy to chase at idle.

The thing is that these kinda cars are there for a reason. The likelyhood of being pulled over by one of these randoms is extremely low unless they are after u specifically.

Cops dont need brake lights to see that u are breaking ure car will dip and tell the world.

How this for a funny but close one. I was going through winthrop av/ stirling hwy near UWA and the light turns orange so i think waht the hey and go it. Drive down stirling and onto the freeway and turn off on canning then start going down kintail road and WHAM look in the rear view and low and behold a pig car right there. Apparently he had to chase me all the way from UWA. All i can say is what a moron i wasnt goin that fast and it was an EB for gods sake. Thought that was worth a tell seeing as i laughed all the way home and dam near in his face.:lol:

Yep u guessed it, the autowatch:) I have toyed with the idea of just pluggin the car into the mains but this brings up alot of ethical and technical issues not to mention legal.

If you put in the time and effort u can break into and steal any car no matter what u have in it. As long as it goes WHEEEEE WOOOOO WHEEEE WOOOO when someone messes with it thats all u need right? and they all do that but its how fast they get disarmed that makes the difference. I bet ure average car thief cant disarm my alarm before i beat their head in with my "persuader":bonk: :elaugh:

Ahh in the car Generally it depends how dodgy u look and how nervous as to how far they will go. Standard is just the under seats, storage comparments and boot. But if they think they are on to something they wont stop until they find it eg. stickin hands in cracks in upholstery and trim searching under car and bonnet and pullin carpet up in boot and floor.

Well ill have to add that to the "car not to cain in front of " filter. Wonder when our bovine friends will start using the new commos and fords??

Yeh definately, just cause u drive a hi performance car doesnt mean u can drive properly. I think the only way that ppl will learn is the hard way. I must admit i did dive like a crazy in the first couple of months of having my car and consequently had an accident (nothing to do with how i was driving but god wanted to teach me a leasson in the form of a 17yr old girl in a corrola who had a lic for 3 days*sigh*) I believe the only problem is that instead of "learning" ppl are just having horror smashes and not being given the chance to tone it down on their own accord and end up in wheelchairs or worse. Dont fool ureself, NO speeding is safe ANYWHERE. The faster u go the higher the risk, the more traffic the higher the risk etc etc. One thing that gets me the worst is ppl that constantly brake late. Dont they know that brakes fail??? fair enuff it doesnt happen often but when it does dont u wanna have 100m of free time to pull the park brake as opposed to thinkin "im gonna threshhold brake right up to that T intersection and then fang it around" OH ****!!!!:eek:

Our friend Robyn used to work for the brokers that i used called Harringtons. She knows her cars ok and u can tell she actually gives a dam about u and ure car. They do good deals but it looks like due to my recent claim i am automatically unapplicable. I hope to hell SGIO dont turn me down next year;)

The only problem with autowatch is that every man and his dog has one. Notice at the last cruise ud hear the beep beep like a million times:lol: Oh well just backs up how good they are huh:)
