There are rules in place about people coming in to for sale threads with the aim to ruin the sale Someone with some hands on skills can build the car they want from this, rather than paying 15k to buy something that is full of cut corners and is about to spin a bearing and is full of hidden rust

No I dont. The complete engine is still assembled, including hot side and cold side and diff. Only missing the top end cover set. The bottom end is still assembled apart from the rod and piston from the bore with the spun bearing. No sump/diff on this one

Pretty sure you will find the board is identical but the ECU as a whole wont work. The auto ECU actually controls the auto as well as the motor, whereas the manual ecu wont have any of the circuitry to run the auto

My understanding is Yes you can. I'm assuming you are getting the plate off the PF guy? The issue you may have is the legality of such an old block in a new chassis The RB26 head bolts wont fit apparently. You will either need to enlarge the rb30 block holes/thread, or run an rb25 head stud kit. Do this so i can see if it works well so i'll know whether i should do it too
