If he has spent $20000 on this GTR then I'd say he would have reciepts for where it went so just get him to take you through exactly what he's done to the car and that it has the right modification plates to go with it.

This engine was built using about $18000, it makes a lot more than 265kw and is has the strength and reliability to support it. So when it comes to reliability versus power, I think I realise more than most mate. Hiiiiiiiiiiyooooooooo

20K goes along way with a RB26 and yet it still only makes 265kw?? Where did the rest of the money go? Maybe he's holding back the real power figures?........go the GTR!!

Hmmm, maybe, I haven't checked that....I'm just curious to see if they work at all. I have never seen a R33 with them actually working but they must be there for a reason...

Hey guys, Yes, yet another front bar question.....anyway. Has anyone ever seen these lights actually working on a R33 before. I'm talkin about the little white lights on the inside of the idicators. I know there is wiring going to the whole light unit but I just wanna know if they can be used or if someone has seen them working on another R33?

But that would mean we'd all have plates that would actually FIT in our jap plate holders!

Yeah, we must have had ones of those faulty ones then cause we did all of that and stuffed around with different afms for ages and we still couldn't gt it to work, it wouldn't even hold boost, the turbo would boost right by the set limit like it wasn't even there.... We just got sick of the whole system so we replaced it with a stand alone Wolf3D EMS.

We had the E-manage and the profec E-01 with the afm and injector loom installed, and we still could not get it to fucntion at all and this was on a R33 N/A with a complete engine rebuild. The boost controller didn't work, the in built fuel cut defender didn't work and the turning capabilities, using the Greddy support tool from what we could see, were very limited when compared to a Wolf 3D or Power FC. Not only were we having these problems but everyone else we rang about it were in the same boat as us. If you have some pointers you could give us about that system I'm sure Trackside Performance and another three tuning shops would love to hear from you...

Trackside performance spent ages with an E-manage and Profec E-01 on my car, trying to tune it and get it right, but we ended up just getting rid of it becuase the instructions are crap and anything else is in Japanese. We found the system was full of features but it was useless and didn't work. Every other shop we asked for help either haven't even used one before or have found the same problems and have ditched it as well. If you need more info on it, give Alan at Trackside performance a ring on (07)32057707 and tell him Sean sent ya, he should help you out with some info on the E-manage.

Man, somebody should be reporting this stuff to A Current Affair or Today Tonight about how these revenue raisers are entrapping motorists. Also, if they just film you breaking the law instead of pulling you over right away, how can they say that this practice is protecting the public. If the guy they're filming crashes into another car becuase he was speeding and kills someone, what can the police say they did to save that person's life??? Nothing! but at least they have some nice video footage for the family of the deceased!

ok, if that is the case, why do these guys continue to put GTR badges on thier GTS-Ts to make them look "tough"?? Shouldn't they be happy with the fact that thier skyline is a GTS-T and not feel the need to impersonate a GTR??

Well, I might not have had the time to appear at the last few club events becuase of work but my 33 is definatly worth an appearance in the calender......well at least 2DMAX and ZOOM magazine seem to think so Whats the deadline for the photos??

I'm definatly up for another dyno day, they're always good to watch and the best part of all..........no drift damage!

If anyone has the support tool software for the Greddy E-manage that you can use on your laptop that would be great.

Does anyone know if the Greddy Profec E-01 boost controller package comes with the cable that connects it to the Greddy E-manage piggyback ECU?

Hey, I'm after a bodykit for my R33 and just wanted to know if anyone had a bodykit shop or a kit they would recommend. Anywhere in Brisbane is fine. :Pimp2:

Maybe one of those quick release steering wheels from japan. Not only do they look cool, there's no way they can drive it anywhere even if they manage to start the car. They'd need a tow truck to steal it.
