  2. Gavin Wood Autotech 1/23 Gibbs Street Labrador Queensland 4215 Australia (07) 55292313 I have been using them for a couple years without drama.
  3. tried www.nengun.com < I use them for all parts and recieved my Apexi Filter kit not long ago.
  4. Looking to find a new or as new Trust cooler for a R32 GTR. As an alternative to buying one through Nengun. Don't like my chances but worth a try. Jonathan
  5. Gtst. Buying a non-turbo and paying a couple thousand to convert it is all money that could be used to tidy up a Gtst. Resale would also be better. Just get the car you are looking ar buying checked out prior to buying it to make sure its mechanically healthy and you shouldn't have to many dramas.
  6. I agree with your comments. Probably settle around 20-25k for your good example with decent mechanical health. Then early 30's for a modified example with good bodywork/interior. I'm 23 so still getting my head around depreciation on vehicles a bit. Had I of bought a XR6T new for example 2 years ago I would have lost more than all my playing with the GTR, and less fun.
  7. Hi, There are a fair few people in the same boat as me and was wondering other people's opinions. I bought my 91 model R32 GTR for 25k 2 years ago and have since seen alot of GTR's 89/90 for sale as low as 15k. I realise these are poor examples of a dated sports car but they in turn affect the resale of the newer GTR's and those in far better condition. I am under the impression that in 12 months time alot of these rough GTR's will be found doing alot of workshop time or permanent garage time. As they aren't the cheapest car to maintain (let alone modify). The people stretching their budget to buy a GTR may not be able to afford to keep them going. 1. Given the import law changes I think those people selling their GTR's later in the year will have an improved market to sell. With only better examples still on the road. 2. Tastefully modified GTR's should also carry better value as importing modified GTR's cheaply is no longer an option under the 15yr rule. Can I get other peoples opinions on this ? TIA Jonathan
  8. If you do a search of the forums you will find a fair amount of info on this. Theres a website that does them, but I think it might be international.
  9. I had my TEIN Super Streets Bought and Fitted by Fulcrum for $1,200. Was when they were first made distributors for TEIN in Australia earlier this year but surely they aren't well over 2k ??
  10. I saw the indicators recently for sale elsewhere for a good price. Can't remember though I thought it was Nengun.
  11. They did my exhaust and organised the making of the muffler. I was very happy with the results. Alot of cars around town like it as well, their alarms are always singing away!!
  12. If you don't have money to throw towards a decent example GTR and maintenance you may be biting off more than you can chew. Assess what you want from a car and see if the GTR fits the bill. I know a fair few friends who can't handle cars that need alot of maintenance attention. << You have most likely taken these into consideration I know. I love mine
  13. To be a bit more specific a product that is - - Cost Efficient - Limited Brake Dust - Comfort although able to do the job when really needed. - Locally available product if possible
  14. Hi, My brake pads are on their way out and after doing a number of searches wasn't able to find any substantial information. I have next to no background knowledge on them so any information would be greatly appreciated. The car is almost entirely used on the street with standard brake setup at the moment. TIA Jonathan
  15. I have one just removed from my car R32 GTR. was replaced with a bigger pump. filter bag attached never had any problem with it in 2 years of ownership.
  16. Seen as this thread is a bit quieter now I decided to throw up all my amateur pics. Was a fun day.
