Thank you, Akeenan! There is a bus timetable from Gotemba Station to the Speedway on the FSW site so that may be all I need. We are spending 6 nights in Tokyo and then 6 nights in Osaka from the 24th April -6th May. Doing day trips to kyoto and othe surrounding areas of Osaka if anyone has any other suggestions. Hi, I haven't logged on here for a while since selling my 32 GTR and getting into a FD RX-7 but have a trip to Japan booked and would like some assistance. I am planning to get myself and gf to Fuji Speedway for the D1 practise day on April 26th from the Prince Hotel in Shinjuku, 2 minutes walk to Shinjuku Station. http://www.fsw.tv/english/access/railway.html Is there anything I should know about catching the Odakyo Romance Car to Gotenba Station and then Taxi to the Speedway? Is it really as simple as getting to the station and finding a cab? We will have a JR Rail pass for our fortnight stay. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Regards, Jonathan

Should have explained myself better. This event has only been advertised for a couple months hasn't it? Which is fine for spectators but possibly not some competitors who can take months saving and modding in preperation for an event like this.

Wish I didn't have to miss it now. What was the crowd like? Can't have had the same as the full Jambo with the limited notice?
