  1. ok and is there any good usb style soundcard you would recommend? all reviews at the moment from different websites mean jack sh*t to me right now to be honest. There were countless websites saying how good the G930 was etc etc and as mentioned it was rat sh*t. So will prob go the Audio Tec 700's or now will even look at the Sennheiser 555s. Just want to know a good sound card (USB preferably so i dont have to d*ck around in side my case) I have a brand new asus motherboard with some alright onboard specs, still would rather go with a soundcard but would have to be an ok one, under $100 if possible.
  2. yeah fair enough Nismoid. Are your senns wireless? I like the idea of the wireless headphone. My plantronics 777 is nice sounding but the wire gives me the sh*ts, even gets caught under my wheel of my chair sometimes. I really want a nice wireless system but not sure now if that even exists! P.S. Sending my logitech g930's back to officeworks. their head office has accepted the refund, only had them for 2 days and that was enough.
  3. Prank: Us oldies need to get back up to date with the terminology :-) But R = Reserve, I = Instant. so R means what you will hold the item for a potential buyer at if you dont get a better offer. Instant means thats how much to buy it instantly. Same terminology as e-bay and the OCAU forums by the looks of it, but i guess as far as pricing goes "Technically" a price has been posted as the "instant" Just comes accross similar to the e-bay auctioning and OCAU forums auctioning that takes place. Gang and OP i could be completely wrong but thats what i read it as. Anyways, good luck to the seller and potential buyers.
  4. Nice one, ok it definitely helps but still no where near it should be. I am no audiophile but I can tell you the sound out of it is like something you would get from a 20dollar headset. I really want them to sound amazing and am giving them every opportunity to grow on me, but I really recommend to stay away from them. P.s I should have checked the reviews on amazon prior to purchase, so many pissed off people
  5. Ok guys, I got my g930 and I need to be honest, I am extremely disappointed . The lack of bass is apalling and when you do play with the graphic eq and add more bass you can turn it up or it distorts. The only advantage would be the wireless which is nice but that's where it ends. My plant tonics 777 sound so much better and louder. On top of this it keeps on showing error messages that it cannot locate USB headset please disconnect and reconnect. Every time I reboot it comes up about 15 times until I press ok.
  6. FYI, motor would have been something along the lines of this: http://www.teamassociated.com/lrp/parts/details/LRP50712/ ESC would have been something along the lines of this: http://www.teamtekin.com/r1.html the tekin ESC really seems to be the most popular one at the moment. Prob looking at about $400 plus you will need a decent lipo battery ($100) so $500. most importantly though, can you control it? You will need to ensure all your trimming etc is good, plus make sure you have a spectrum module radio to go with it, you dont want to be going flat tack to have your radio clash with another frequency otherwise BYE BYE car.
  7. Turn related more to brushed motors, now with brushless turns are rated a little different, 3.5 brushless Lrp if memory serves me correct what you would be after but in no way should it be put in a tt01. Google feral batteries, have good prices on the motors and li-pos you would need to get to that speed. You would also need an electronic speed controller esc for short to power it
  8. Ha ha 7 hours, nice work. Waiting for them to arrive is like being a five year old waiting for Christmas
  9. Are yours wireless? Just to give you boys a heads up though, Logitech shop has them for 169 office works has them for 179. I bought the office works one then realized that they advertised the best price or they match it and take off 5 percent, so I called em, verified logitech shop pricing and got them for 160
  10. Just ordered the logitech G930 wireless from office works. approx $180, cant wait for em:-)
  11. Brushless mod. Guy called Toby was driving it, he didn't place to well though overall but was definitely one of the fastest down the straight. Lrp modified brushless I think it was Would have been an X-ray I'm sure, most of the top racers here in wa run the X-rays with parts readily available
  12. Thanks guys, the Sony you mention though looks to be an in ear headphone? Are you saying that would be better than the g930 for gaming?
  13. Original syndicate or is there a new one?
  14. yeah, i have a new born baby, Skyrim 1 - baby 0. people said it is impossible for a 5 month old to vacuum and cook dinner. Skyrim proved them wrong.
  15. Hi Guys, Well i bought a plantronics 777 headset about 4 months ago (coincidentally same time i started skyrim) and now i am obsessed with wearing gaming headphones whilst playing. i bought them for about $100 (JB hifi) but now want the next level of audio experience. Whilst i am seeing on the forums there are ones called atX70 you need a sound card etc to run them which will end up costin about $300. My plantronics has a usb adaptor that basically does dolby digital without the soundcard. So what are your recommendations around the $200 mark and it has a dolby digital option. I dont mind the Logitech wireless g930 as i have read some good reviews on that. Any other recommendations?
  16. Yup just finished it, completely agree with what others had said. I even had to you tube the ending to make sure i had just done the ending (hope that makes sense what i am saying) Still have side quests etc but i think for now the last few months have been taken up enough by skyrim. Going to play BF3 but am reading they are talking about skyrim add ons, no doubt similar to the Fallout franchise, in which case I WILL BE BACK :-)
  17. Sorry Bubba, no drift just pure "proper" racing. I am not a drifter by no means, but any of the racers at a competitive level give em a set of slicks/pvc and about 2 laps to warm up and they are as good as anyone. Have had a bash before with some drift tyres and picked it up pretty easy...... then went back to racing :-) i didnt feel the same adrenaline as the speeds that are achieved in racing. just an fyi, you were right, bayswater used to run nitro on the cement and electric on the clay track next to it. Local residents went to bayswater council regarding the noise of the nitro and therefor where not not allowed to race, so electric has now come along and the lap times they are getting is unbeleivable. At the recent nationals 104km/h was clocked down that 35 metre straight. unbeleivable!
  18. Bubba you have a few track to choose from: - Baywater on moojebing Street on Sunday morning - Also P.R.E.C.C (carpet racing) - bunbury way you can also race with them. (cant recall name but have been there and it aint too bad at all) Also there was talk of a new track a bit past Joondalup in the future. Sliding Alex - nice work on the TC6, always a good contender. My brother still races the TC3 in national and state comps and does quite will, just finished 11th nationally in an 8 year old car.
  19. There should also be a slight bit of play in the meshing of the gear. Between the pinion and the spur aim for just over half a mil of play, too much and it will strip not enough and the same will occur. Timing has been included now for esc of brushless motors and the motors themselves. Some of the new esc have an option called turbo and can be tuned through a laptop. To be honest it's not that new anymore and can be commonly found in the more expensive range. Now If memory serves me correct the tt01 was shaft drive, don't even think about using some of the higher end motors as the shafts don't respond too well to high amounts of torque. Belt driven cars are more for the high end brushless which leave nitro for dead.
  20. Get an X-ray and you can get the decent gearing. Most of the tt01 and entry level kits are ok for the good hack and bash but nothing to full in. My first car 9 years ago was a tt01 I then started racing as I found it much more exciting than drifting. Each to their own though. Have a look though at rctech website for general info and purchase some parts from tower hobbies, rc mart, a main hobbies to name a few
  21. Just on normal setting at the moment, do you get any extra bonuses etc when playing master? ie more XP points when killing?
  22. Well finally up to level 49, on the main quest now thanks to your help i know which is the main quest now (one with the dragon squiggles next to it in the journal) I have my enchanting and smithing up to 100 and most areas filled. Got my daedric bow up to 196 points damage which is beautiful! most distance shots kill in one shot, however if they are too close only takes off halve the amount. Was looking on you tube the other day and saw a guy that had his alchemy skill maxed and created a smithing potion at 120% so his weapons and armour where ridiculous!
  23. I put $5 on webber to win. Nothing big but makes it a bit more interesting. Also saw on the carsales website that Mercedes has somthing in store for Schumi, but it doesnt really say what it is. Any idea? Any point on putting money on him to win? http://www.carsales.com.au/news/2012/sports/mercedesbenz/motorsport-something-special-for-schumi-28866
  24. Hmm just saw this thread below to answer my own question: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/389573-torrents/ Still i am extremely dissapoint. Was my fav torrent site.
