well my first speeding fine ever was at 4am a couple years ago. i was on the BAC limit and doing at least 140 in a 60 zone. Prior to this, i drove at least 40kms at or below the speed limit and only gave it a quick hit at the traffic lights near my house - went past a HWP car sitting at the petrol station about 100-200m up the road from where i did a 8k clutch dump. cop caught up to me in front of my driveway (didn't have his lights on and i didn't know i went past a cop). anyways, he breath tested me three times and told me i was lucky cos i barely scraped under the limit. then said he knows i was doing at least double the speed limit, but he's gonna let me off cos i have a great driving record (no incident for the 7yrs i was driving). His words were 'looks like u f**ked up. happens to all of us'. (he gave me a fine for 15km over). a month after that, my good driving record went down the dunny and i lost my licence for 6 months. lol.

Really? I wouldn't. It'll last a few weeks, maybe a month and u're in for a rebuild. If you're going to buy a 32 gtr, spend the extra and get a rebuilt one to save yourself the pain/hassles. Otherwise you're just digging a hole and jumping head first into it. (im experienced at this).

i was driving down beecroft rd in '06 and decided to give it a quick squirt aroudn the bends where it goes over m2. In the corolla with cement tyres, i managed around 110 around the bends which i personally thought was a great effort. anyways, towards teh end of the bends i hit the brakes to slow down and got down to 90 when a HWP car went past, turned his lights on, and did a handbrake turn after me (looked awesome btw lol). so i just pulled over and he told me i was video'd doing 90 in a 60 zone. Because he was spot on with the speed, i said 'cool, give me the fine, i gotta be somewhere'. he gave me some attitude, i just grinned at him, snatched the fine off him, and then drove off. by this time, i had clocked up 21 demerit points, so my care factor was 0 as my license was gone soon after anyway.

i clocked around 800kms during DD in a turbo import. Stay under the speed limit and u're safe. i saw heaps of people get pulled over around. i was doing 59-60 on anzac bridge (60 zone) the other day in a supra, and at least 20 cars flew past me doing at least 80. where the f**k were the cops? i lost my license there in '06, but everytime i go on that f**king bridge doing the speed limit since then, ppl fly past me well over the speed limit, and there's no cops pulling them over. now i just stay at 60 and swerve around in my lane. i noticed no one comes near me. In NSW, as long as u're under the speed limit, u can drive like a cock sucker. That's what i'm going to do from now on. Pay back to all the f**kwits on the road.
