  1. goto whatever your local tyre shop is and have a chat to them... (don't buy whatever they try and sell you straight up) you mentioned you had 17" rims? the width of the rims will play a large part in what width tyre you can run as well as the offset/s as to where the rim/tyre is positioned within the guards. i believe 9" is the minimum wheel width for 275's. quality of tyre is just as if not more important than width though. if u look at what u need the car for and what u want to do with it then a tyre shop can get u started. after that do some research on net and take a look at the sticky in susspension, braking and tyres. good luck with it - 275's FTW

  3. i'd reccomend charlie's motors on wellington rd east brisbane (near the gabba) is the only place that ive always been happy with the results. good luck with it.

    R34 Gt-t Wing

    nismo wingmounts for gtt factory wing - looked into them a long time ago but genuine ones are too expensive - ie more than an aftermarket full adjustable wing with c/f top etc. various places sell fiberglass copies that are not as strong and IMO a bit lame, a agree ... they look awesome!!! and they won't get asmuch cop attention as a full adjustable aftermarket item. although what modded r34 doesn't get cop attention ??? good luck with the search. john.
  5. sure is, mock GTR front bar for GTT by DMD is the bar that came with the car so undecided if will keep / alter / or change all together ... but saving for tyres atm anyhows john.
  6. agree - definately knock note ur load speed revs and gear to help the tuner out i'd also consider in investing in the handcontroller (while they're still available) feedback info on display very usefull (such as knock and water temp) goodluck with it
  7. sure everyone loves the idea of a 34 cruise / photoshoot but trying to get all at once in one place the problem... suggest finding a date ... a long weekend or week of no consequence ... far from now ... vic peeps arange an interstate cruise... qld peeps arange an interstate cruise... etc... etc... (see didnt forget about the west coast) all converge at sydney for some sort of event ... ie autosalon / jamboree / summernats / winternats ... ( i have nfi what sydney people do ) ... far away from now so everyone can take it off work / family etc ... ... get a magazine interested ??!? ... do a big meet go for cruise take photos whatever ... goto event on same weekend (insentive for interstate travelers) meh .... other ideas people ??? so not off topic ...
  8. only the one set of kingsprings exactly as pictured (not complete front and rear) definately fit (came out of my car before i had coilovers) was around just legal hight with bodykit fitted. they've been sitting for around a year - was nothing wrong with them when i upgraded. not sure on quality or fit of bilstiens thus why they thrown in at this cost. john.

  10. 1. what computer are u running ??? if u are piggy backing then the factory computer is probbly just chucking a fit cuz not wired / set up right. 2. is the tcs still inplace? if u are running factory plenum etc then probly yes (tcs is nobby looking thing that comes of pipe crossing over head and sits into the neo cover) 3. airbag light flashing cuz seat/dash removed at some stage (either to fit pigyback as under passenger seat is common place or dash removed / replaced) 4. centre guages - nfi ? not sure if there is a fuse for these or not but would look in drivers kick panel if there is else the guage panel is pretty easy to remove so open her up and check wiring else get someone who knows shiz to take a look and if cant figure it out ... ... good excuse to buy some new guages i'm no mecanic/auto elec guy but i hope this helps, otherwise go see someone who specialises in 34's and they should know the score. john.

  12. IMO u should touch or be close to 200rwkw (shootout mode) on .8 bar peaking at .9 possibly less (but def no more) depending on fuel and how conservative the tune is i'd start saving for that turbo though john.

    great run hey - big thanks to ian for organising (and helping stall people while my radiator cooled down at first meet) and also to josh for riding shotgun so i could watch the road n he my temperatures good to see the two that had the bingle sorted it on a good note will def be up for the next one of these (might check my cooling system etc first though) awesome night cheers, john
  15. cheers - if i din't go a do-luck myself my other thoughts would be to customise a little in that area (read: chop out the fugly bits) bar was already on the car when i bought it.

  19. goto: my car's profile the 200rwkw was done before the power fc when was on e-manage - was bad tuned though have since changed shops, computers (to power fc), re-tuned, fuel (to 100) and boost(upped a bit) new shop has tuned much better but won't use shoot-out mode on dyno i think my boost is set at .8 but it seems to go up to .9 and sometimes 1 bar i don't really understand it but it feels good and goes well so i'm happy john.

  21. on 98 (ultimate/optimax) previously had to pull boost back a touch to prevent higher knocks, on 100 (extreme/Vpower racing) have been able to re-up boost to as previous yet rarely get a high knock. (pfc is still tuned to 98 fuel as would hate to get stuck in stix with wrong tuning to fuel available.) works for me, john.
  22. have 200rwkw r34 gtt - no z32 afm or high flowed turbo or anything like that - as far as power goes just; power fc + boost controller + intercooler + pod + exhaust hope this helps john.
  23. whichever way you decide let us know how u go ... am looking at upgrading turbo on my 34 in the near future also john.
