  1. I believe it was running Optimax at the time, the unleaded was a couple of litres to make sure it had fuel. Do gtrs have a 'limp home' function in the EMC? I've just been informed that it hit a bump in the road just prior, which may have caused the 'cooler pipe to come off. EDIT. Btw thanks for the advice guys. The gtr is a bit of a step up from a datto 1600...
  2. What are you talking about?? Its an RB26, they don't just blow up. The smoke was black too, if it was rings it would've been white smoke..
  3. how about this, get off the net so I can call you!!! I have an some suggestions. A mate reckons the o2 sensor may have carked it from the fuel, otherwise BOV is stuck open, or Air Flow Meter didn;t like the fuel either and needs looking at. Apparently there is a screw on the side of it??
  4. I saw a reddy/orange r34 travelling rather quickly up erindale drive and down long gully road this morning. Couldn't quite tell but i think it was a gtst or w/e. My patrol is too slow for chasing skylines, the 1600 will be finished soon....
  5. Location is ACT in tuggers. Price is 8500, but I beleive that to be negotiable. I am just listing for a mate, so please use contact details as supplied for further details. Then we won't play chinese whispers. As much fun as that is.
  6. For Sale Nissan Skyline R31 Turbo 4 door R31 Skyline. Silver. ROH Wheels. New custom intercooler and pipework. Great condition inside and out. Lots of extras. Phone Brett on 0438 447038 [email protected]
  7. well yes, the x trail wasn't going anywhere excpet on the back of a truck, whereas the skyline was still driveable..... Just lucky it wasn't REAL 4x4.
  8. My commiserations to YBP37M who got t-boned by a x trail in tuggeranong yesterday arvo.....
  9. I tend to agree with Stirlo, I spoke to tech standards in dickson and they said I will have to have an engineers certificate. One could assume that it depends what day of the week you turn up for inspection as to whether you need a cert. or not...... I'm going to get one anyway.
  10. That is good news. May my licence last longer than a week after I rego it.... Thanks.
  11. Hi there, I have scored a 89 model GTR from japan, I was hoping someone could tell me exactly what I have to do to get ACT rego on it? I've been told different things like just front up at dickson and they will tell you, or pay a workshop 1800, or just change belts, RHS mirror, HL brake light and add side intrusions. Which is the best way to go about it? Thanks
  12. I said I wanted something faster than my n/a 1600, not a corolla... just kidding man. I am contemplating repowering the 1600 or selling it and getting a 180B. I used to have a stock 180B with webers and lowered in the back that used to drift like it was on ice. I was keen to get something newer and faster from standard though, hence the Zed question.
  13. Hi y'all, Can anyone comment on how well the 240Z and 280ZX's drift ? I need a drift machine that goes faster than my N/A 1600 but is still cheap.... Cheers
  14. I have a national rally licence, what does that let you do? (apart from up to state level rallies..) Can I do track days>?
  15. Hi Guys, Where does the late night drift action happen in the ACT? Mountain roads anywhere? Don't tell me you are all soft.....
