Darren did you have to change the handbrake setup at all when you fitted the GTT Brakes to the rear?
-
Im pretty sure its a Nismo rear bar isnt it? But i have no idea what the side skirts are i dont think they are MASA are they?
-
I can see where you are coming from for sure and yes i understand that the e-manage obviously is far superior technology wise, But i have heard and read of many accounts of people having pleanty of trouble just to get the e-manage installed and running properly on their car. Back when i had my old silvia i was looking at going down the path of the e-manage because it had an rb20 in and it was very hard to come by a powerfc for the rb20, the only person that i could find who really knew what they were talking about when it came to the e-manage was Trent from Autobarn at the time now he is URAS, but now i dont think he installs them or tunes them anymore. I would be more than happy to go down the path of the e-manage if i could find someone who has had experience in setting them up and tunning them. But until i can find someone to do this i think i will just stick with what people can install and tune with ease and i know i will be able to get the results i want with the Apexi equipment.

Gb: Gts-t / Gtt Silicone Inlet Pipe From Airbox To Turbo
FLYSLY replied to Bass Junky's topic in Group Buys
Put me down for 1 blue one for S1 Stagea -
Can you please explain further on this??? Your own experience??

The Z32 allows for more air to be tuned to flow through, fuel pump go for something like the bosch 040. A good tuner for the e-manage would be harder to come by than a good tuner for the Apexi equipment. Gorgasm: i dont mean to be rude but im surprised that your only making 186rwkw with your mods, cause im make 162 at all 4 without a tune. And i know for a fact that having the SAFC alone makes a big difference in power. Jippa: i personally think that for the power you are trying to acheive your best bet would be to stick with something you know people have tried and tested without having to many problems. I really think you will find a lot of problems well maybe not problems as such but difficulties in trying to get the PowerFC to function correctly with the auto
-
ask Tangles he has the SITC and SAFC 2 tuned in his car at the moment, all i know is that as a tuning combo they work very very well, SK also has a similar type setup he has the SITC with the Jaycar DFA. Like many of us have said if you are after huge power there is no point even buying a Stagea. The question you need to ask yourself is how much power are you after? The SAFC and SITC combo can quite easily tune well over 200 4 wheel kw, it just all depends on if you have the supporting mods to get there
-
Here is an SITC for sale on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-MINT-AP...sspagenameZWD2V They are rare so if you want one get in quick cause its not often they are up for sale
-
I think for the SITC cost me around 330, I have not bought the SAFC NEO yet, i have been looking and so far the best price i can find is about 430 delivered.
-
or just go piggback with the APEXI SITC and SAFC NEO like me, much easier to hide and much much much cheaper than MOTEC and AUTRONIC
-
It might work with auto's but does it work with the ATESSA?

How To Make A Stagea The Biggest Loser

I can definately see where you are coming from Darrin, and i think some of the things are definately a good idea for a number of reasons not just the weight loss. In my opinion things like going for an alloy radiator is better for keeping the engine cooler especially if you are going to go for a twin or tripple core but i really dont believe that you will save much weight if any on an alloy radiator. Think about it standard radiator has plastic end tanks anyway which are extremely light weight and the actually core itself is alloy i believe they are pretty darn light already. Upgrading brakes are one of the best ideas on there not only the fact that you are shedding a few kg's but are also making the car safer. I dont belive that going manual would make the car lighter at all, considering you have to consider clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and then the gearbox, plus all the master cylinders slave cylinders pedal box and pedals change the handbrake etc.. I know i am taking this to extremes but still there is probably added weight going manual. Mind you i would have a manual over auto anyday -
Fark that is extremely nice, if i didnt have mine id buy that in a flash

sweet i like em loud anyway, plus i dont drive it everyday now anyway

The Fuji exhaust i have at the moment does not drone at all, you cant even hear it from inside the car, at and does still sound quit nice but you have to be farly close to the exhaust to hear it as it is super quiet. I have had my front mount on for a long time now and never had a problem with it and i still have not had it tuned. My personal opinion is that a front facing plenum is an absolute waste of money, all fmic kits you buy will be made with all the pipes designed to be fitted with a standard plenum, so it will cost you to have these pipes adjusted to suite and it will cost money to have the plenum fitted plus the cost of the plenum itself. The sydneykid suspesion setup would also be fine for the odd track day, in my opinion it is a much better setup rather than the G4 coilovers. Im not in anyway trying to push in any direction just giving my opinion. What sort of apprentice are you?
