    Deca Review

Ok ive just been reading through this whole thread and looking through all the pics and i am absolutely loving the pics and vids. Now i am new the SAU Vic Member thing so i have absolutely no idea what DECA is so if someone could explain that would be great, as it looks like so much fun i think i would like to get involved possibly in the next one either helping out or participating in the driving. Cheers Simon
  4. Well im easy with whatever time/day, but i would prefer a Sunday morning.
  5. But i have not got the in tank pump yet alex, that will come within the month! and i was only running 12psi or so
  6. Sorry Brad my bad, i tried keeping it on topic. Good luck with the wheel hunting
  7. I dont do my car up in any style, I do it up the way i want because i think it looks good! I dont live in Japan, and even if i did i wouldnt be doing things to my car just because thats the style, id only do it if i thought it looked good and i liked it.
  8. Ummm ok ^^^ Thanks Luke, its just that they had so much gutter rash!
  9. ummm i think i have, im not sure if you will like luke! Sorry for hijacking thread Brad
  10. Nice, looks clean as, i love the gun metal colour
  11. I honestly dont believe that staggered wheels would do much damage at all if any, as long as the heights of the wheels are all the same! Actually come to think of it on the wheels i have on now ive got different width tyres and i have still had no problems
  12. Hey Luke, the wheels i had on, when we had the cruise are the ones which were on it when chris imported it and they were staggered. But now i have new wheels
  13. Sweet another 260rs in melbourne, we definately need another cruise
  14. which was better? If it was GTR which im guessing it is, it shouldnt matter then as he is running GTR now anyway
  15. Well i never had any problems with my rims when i had the staggered sizes on my car, anyway there are a hell of a lot of GTR's going around with some seriously staggered rims
  16. Brad, My old rims were 18 by 9 on the rear and 18 by 8 on the front the offset was +40 and they fitted, Mind you on the rear the tyres were stretched on so the tyre wall was on an angle, but im not sure if this was because the tyre would have hit the inner gaurd.
  17. When i was sent to mcleod, i was in my old car: Onevia RB20DET, hks2540R, 440cc injectors, full exhaust, dr drift remap etc... I passed, they checked for BOV, Boost Controller, they did check for aftermarket ecu but they only pulled the plastic cover of they did not pull the computer to bits to check for chip etc... They did check for aftermarket turbo, but as mine was still lowmounted and had all stock heatsheild on it they passed me... And they also check for engineers cert if you have engine swap etc...
  18. Did you order some blue leds for me kezza, if not could you?? Cheers Simon
  19. Yep, it is awesome! I can garuntee that everday numerous amounts of time people will be drving past looking back to see what it is. I was parked at bunning's once and i got back to my car to find an older lady (bout 40odd) walking around the car and looking in the window etc... The people that serve me at servo's at the counter always ask me what it is. But the most memorable time was on the melb stag cruise late last year, when there was 6 of us all lined up driving down the road, i can only imagine what people would have been thinking.
  20. Not through the door seal lol, i dunno its hard to explain and i prolly dont know what its called lol.
  21. haha wicked, thanks mate
  22. 1st Pic: Blue vac hose that goes from plenum chamber to fuel pressure reg. Cut That hose and put T piece connecter in between like i have done. Now conect black rubber thing that comes with boost gauge (only autometre models come with the really small nylon hose) now connect nylon hose into the rubber reducer. Now just run the nylon/vac line as neatly as possible through engine bay using cable ties to stop it from getting caught up in anything that might damage it. I found it close to impossible to run the vac line through the firewall, so instead i ran it as neatly as possible through a gap in the gaurd then up and under the door seal and then in behind the plastic pillar and into the boost gauge etc... If there is anything i have mucked up/ missed out just let me know etc... Simon
  23. The nipple is the bit that is blocked off with the little rubber cap thing on it, but you will prolly have a vac hose coming off yours
  24. Here ya go this is where i hooked mine up to, and there is also a pic in there of the nipple Ska was talking about! But i just found it easier to hook it up to where i hooked it up to. The Last pic, is the pic of the nipple that Ska is talking about
