  1. Square wave looks like gears? and the top line i believe is speed
  2. I finally got around to downloading my incar off my phone from bathurst was a good week end pity i had to drive down twice from the gold coast after the first event in March was canceled. i had just finished driving the 13hours and checked in when i got the phone call it was off. I had my evo 6 as my 180sx is still of the road.and was meet with some feirce compitition in the form of scotts evo 2. that think is crazy fast. as is you stuart in that gtr. i was quite happy with my result seen as though it was my first time ever to bathurst. Esses 28.33 2nd in class and 9th outright, Mt Straight 50.64 2nd in class and 10th outright after just two runs as i busted my diff/drive shaft on the 2nd run and ended my weekend. not bad for a stock evo with only 185kw. I'm hoping to do Grafton in june. and my mate with the supercharged black commodore is trying to convince me to come down for the Aus titles in november and leave the cars down there for the following esses and supersprint a few weeks later. but i will have to do some budgeting. Troy
  3. I enjoyed the week end! well most of it. Practice Friday went out on a set of 205/50/15 Ku36 road tyres and was doing consistant 1:14-1:16 laps latter in the day was having issues with power oversteer issues under the bridge and out of corner 5 i think it is the right hander going up to the T just could not get the power down. So on with the slicks and managed to do 1:12 laps on my first practice. when i came in my dip stick had popped out. so I cleaned up all the oil and got the biggest zip tie i could and tied the dipstick down fueled it up and was ready for what would be the last run of the day and it was! my girlfriend timed my three flying laps at 3:33 with a 1:12, 1:10, 1:11 splits coming out of the T in to the flip flop a bit of smoke started from my left wheel thinking i had a tyre rubbing i backed off, while looking in the rear vision mirror to see what traffic was going to catch me seen a huge cloud of smoke billowing out the rear followed by through the dash and air vents. I'm on fire!!. I came to a stop on the side of the track and was able to put the fire out in one short blast of the extinguisher (very lucky for an oil fire around a turbo and manifold i could almost see through it was that red. Saterday. Supacheap 9:00am $150 later and a mission in front of me. between 10am- 2pm i stiped/ inspected and repaired my standard wiring loom and rewired my Power FC and AVCR sensor looms and both sides of the control gear for my spitfire coils . the fire had also melted the silcone and rubber hoses going to the oil catch can and the heater hoses for the incar heating. so i lost all my coolant as well. was hoping for a test run at the drags but it was canned due to rain. Sunday and first run out and reveled my fate. No boost control i was limited to the HKS auctuator's 12psi (lucky not a 8psi one) not my normal 17/18psi low boost or 21psi high so was having trouble geting down below 1:13 flying laps and with a bogged start on nearly every session 1:18 standing my time was a 3:44/45 over and over (wish it was a regularity event) so a bit dissapointed that i had the potentiol on friday to do 3:37. Still had a heap of fun out there one of my least and fav runs was the one it started raining. I started along side an old bloke in a red 260z and the bugger got me off the line i then spent a lap and a half sitting behind him trying to find a gap but as he was the one touching panels in front of Marks run i didn't risk it and his was covering the inside line every were, eventually Russ and Brad were catching us i thought if I was to let Russ past he might have more luck. but the rain started and the officials would have loved it as the three of us coming on to the main staight all three of us were clocking up the lock to counter the drift train we were in trying to get a run on the 260z. Thanks to Dat2Kman for the work you and your team put in to organsising the event.
  4. On the entry form in the sup regs you would have filled out you had to enter capacity group. eg ,4 2501 - 3000cc, 5 3001cc to 5000cc, 6 5001- over then mods none =Standard 1-2 mods = street 3-4 mods = club 5 or more modifications or Slicks = Race So you, brad and I will be group 5 Race the Boosted Zed and mark and russ if the 34 is now 3ltr will be in 6 Race Troy
  5. I'm entered in sprints and drags and doing the practice friday inn my 180sx. Should be a good weekend! Noddy I will have to pull my finger out to keep up with you this time! as I imagine you will be in group 5 Race aswell!
  6. Just to stir it up a bit. I had a disapointing weekend hoping to get in to the Silver 37.5 group but after not being able to get adequete heat in my slicks on Sat so I swapped to kumho's new KU36 road tyre. Not even a semi and has a tread wear rating of 190 and was able to drop my time to 38.2. So happy that still in 39sec club again but could have done better. In regards to Brad Bottcher. Was always expecting him/you to be at the pointy end of the scale with both cars. V8ETA i imagine would have a few defects flicked at it if mr plod was to pull it up (clearing them may be a diffrent story) In regards to 660-450whpit does not matter as it is all way going to be hard for my fully interior /factory paneled 1250kg + driver, 270whp 180sx to keep up just like it was with the 300whp 700kg skeltas in my class. But at the end of the day its fun trying. and we wil give it another go at marybough with all you guys including you mr smith I imagine. ( sent your entries in yet?) And noddy well done! on the 36.6. made me try a bit harder because we are normaly with in half a sec of each other my way or yours at events. Fun event and i'll be there next year!
  7. hrd-hr30 Yeah the White 180sx is me, I'm still playing in the 47's but will most likely go to full slicks and dog box next year You would have also seen the 180 at the Qld challenge last year when you were the fastest outright in your skyline if i remember right Didn't see you there this year? Here is a pic of my 180 on the autocross track this year and the dutton rally QLD Troy
  8. Paul Following the PM i got from you i have signed up on your timeattack web site but havn't been activated yet or received an email in regards to cost. Would really like to know the costs as i might have another couple of cars looking at comming out. Thanks Troy
  9. Abo Bob there will be on one side a little box with K2, K6 Or K9 K2 super soft sticky from the offset, K6 is med that i use take a bit to warm up but great grip and K9 are hard used on saloon cars good for 20 lap races ect after being heat soaked and used next event K9's are around $280 because of turnover at the moment (saloon cars/Evo mass buy) others around the $350-$400 depending on size/profile also the v700 v700(V70A) and V710 are all diff tread patterns and the s700 is the full slick. A large diffrence in performance between tyres depending on what its used for (street sprints/track hillclimbs) Troy
  10. I got my hands on the sup regs at the pittsworth sprints. Noddy/hrd-hr30 Just a quick question. is it just the sprint challenge or the short circuit touring car that you will be entering? the entry cut off numbers are around 80 for sprint and 30 for short circuit is the short circuit more mulit car racing or something as the classes are diffrent bracket systems to the sprint. I havn't got the regs with me today but i will be more specific if needed tomorow with regs in hand. Troy
  11. Yeah i was having boost problems as well. My AVCR kept reseting during my runs and droping back to 12psi as i have a HKS Actuator. Saterday cautiously fun in the wet and went to bed in 8th outright and leading my class Sunday was much faster but so was every one else. Did a 46.7 with a lock up in to the Hair pin i was trying to get a 45.** Only got 2nd in class but around 20th outright. And seen as though most infront were open wheel, on full slicks or AWD i am happy with my result. Troy
  12. Seriously thinking about doing this after my good result in the wheels on wide bay. I saw you but never got a chance to have a yak. I was the white 180sx Troy
  13. I havn't been out to carnell in almost 5 years. Were or how did you find out about events there. As i wouldn't mind giving it another crack. Troy
