  1. delete this mods - system double posted after a time out... and I can't seem to delete...
  2. So what are the final details for this cruise? I think you saw my car outside the AutoSalon the other day and SMS me about the cruise!? So have to sell my Stag now though - I saw an awesome black one coming towards me on Fullurton road today and when it got near it was a 50 something granny driving it!! NOOOOO! The volvo drivers have invaded the stagea owners club!
  3. hmm at $100 per 330km x 20+ Stageas... would not want to be to far off the beaten track!
  4. Spotted a cute blonde in a Silver SII legnum (Super?) in perfect condition going up Fullurton Road in Mitcham on my way home the other night... If she is invited I might make it! Although I am way to old for her! So more for you young'uns Did anyone think of organising a Stagea showing at AutoSalon this weekend? Although with this weather it would be hard to get your car there in show room condition...
  5. My R34 had: LIC. BOSCH A24-A71 047 87280 but it is a RB25DET if you have the RB26DETT then you will have to use the Titania ones. the single turbo ones are all Zirconia... NGK / NTK OZA395-E2 $85.80 was my replacement part which should work for both R33 and R34 (with the plug swapped on the R34) Tool used was a standard 20mm spanner. The thread was 18mm from memory. Use the spanner on an angle as there is not enough room between the firewall and the exhaust pipe, and the engine and some other box thing... - so no special tool required Click here for the NGK part
  6. Really? As I mentioned a number of posts back - not going to hijack the thread any further! I just thought as we are all in SA that there might be some Stagea fan boys who don't own one yet that want to go along to the cruise - so appologies for the insertion! I will add it to the 4 sale section once I get it back and can take some more photos. BTW - as suggested above swapping is not the plan - no room so need to sell! End hijack!
  7. As I said negotiable. But looking at carsales.com.au I think for the kit and condition it is not to much to ask. But I have room to move, and carsales sellers do tend to expect to much $$ for their cars!
  8. Also has just had an oil and oil filter change, New NGK plugs and new NGK/NTK O2 sensor. And yeah she is sweet - hence why I bought her! But she is more a skyline than the family wagon I was pretending it was going to be to the wife... So the kit etc makes her to precious to keep pretending that it is your run of the mill family car! Must say I was surprised though... I was driving down Osmond tce the other night and a car full of 18 to 22 year old girls pulls up next to me at the lights near the Parade Norwood... And they all start hanging out their car cheering and giving the car the thumbs up and the " " so even with a 33 year old driving (as in me....) it does still seem to turn the heads of the right kind of people! Lets just hope my coupe (when it arrives) is not to boring in comparison... Anyway - I will stop hijacking this thread now!
  9. Price is in the thread http://www.cyber-mag.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1389 But I am very negotiable. As I said I already have a couple of coupes on their way so need the driveway space. Japanesemotorsports (the guys that run drift Australia (I think)) is across the road from where I work and they are selling a S1 version of my car (same kit etc but S1) and wtih 127,000km on the clock for $19,990. My car only has 70 odd on the clock - is a S2 with the NEO engine (210Kw) and I am expecting less. But hey if you want to give me that much I wont say no! Side skirts and front bar are being resprayed so the car will be looking as new. (They did not really like being shipped and trucked from Japan so I am finally getting them freshened up). The car has fully adjustable TEIN suspension so if you want to risk it you could lower it for car shows and meets. Original shockers will be included with the car. The car also has a super sequential HKS BOV. and a 5zugen exhaust. So when using the Steering wheel gear changes (Rather fun) you can pretend it is a full manual and get the "pfft-tisssshhhh" noise, but can drive without that noise occuring at all if you go easy due to cops being around. Original exhaust is also available if you want it. Sitting in my shed at the moment - I have no need to keep it. It also has a Kenwood 10 stacker CD in the boot. The motor assisted boot closing option. And as you can see a massive rear spoiler to make the car look as much as possible NOT like a volvo! The car itself handles better than my R33 GTS-T did. Quite surprising actually for a wagon! And most important of all - the car comes with a mini me... (well not me - but a model car replica I bought but never assembled)
  10. Anyone want to go to this cruise who does not own a Stagea yet? - Mine should be back from its front kit respray by then and will be up for sale... These babies drink to much juice for current petrol prices so I am clearing it to make way for a V35 coupe that I am hoping is more fuel efficient! Hyper Dolphin front and side kit with Dayz rear bar. Stock wheels are back on the car now though... http://www.cyber-mag.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1389 If it is not sold though I might pop past to check out the family wagon cruise with a difference... especially if you get some Legnums to come along!
  11. Amazing thing is - even though these are so rare - I have managed to also buy myself a Silver 6 speed manual with Brembos, 18's, Front lip and the Nismo rear spoiler with only 20,000 odd K's on the clock!! Anyone want to buy?
  12. Mr Moo - you could have bought that NGK one for 80 odd and changing the plug over requires only 2 basic tools - something to cut with - and a pair of pliars to crimp the old and new wires together using about $1 worth of crimps - they ripped you off charging $60 to cut and join 3 wires!! Bloody hell I install an entire xbox mod chip for that price! In fact you only need one tool as pliers can cut as well!
  13. hmmm these look like cheap knock off's... And they don't come with the orange light etc so you will have to source that locally. The existing light I would think would be white as it depends on the yellow plastic to make it yellow... That said - for the price it is tempting! The other ones though do come with every thing - light, mounting plates and connectors... Let us know what they look like when you get them!
  14. I changed the O2 sensor and had no real luck to start with - as well as ran some fuel injector cleaner through the car. Nothing seemed to work - but then I asked my 4 year old son to sit in the drivers seat and Rev the car when Daddy says "now"... Being 4... he kind of did not wait! Reved it like you wouldn't believe - black soot shot out the exhaust - the car has been almost perfect since! I think my exhaust / or cat may have been blocked by soot possibly as a result of a bad fuel mixture - so the O2 sensor may have been a change that was really required...? Either way car runs well now - I have only had 2 shudders since and 3 back fires Still no error codes BTW! But I Plan to pull the exhaust off and clean her out - maybe do something with the cat as well... Have not done this yet due to work commitments recently and the car going in for the Hyper Dolphin kit to be repaired and re-sprayed.
  15. Yeah looks like as was suggested to me I will just have to harden the... up and go ahead and pay the money to get them from eBay was just hoping there may have been a quicker "cheaper" way! Can't blame me for trying! Still can't believe though that some one in the US can sell them on eBay cheaper than what you can buy them direct from japan for!!??
  16. That was rather expensive! cheaper from ebay 083-004-004 V35 Coupe 10-15 days 10,500 yen(JPY) 083-108-028 V35 Coupe 10-15 days 6,600 yen(JPY) Not sure why they list them twice for two rather significantly different prices? The cheaper must be the lens only not the globes etc...?
  17. if you don't mind me asking - how much did you get? and was it an easy sale? Or did you have to drop the price heaps?
  18. I also think you should bring back a stack of clear indicators for the coupe the cars look so much nicer with them! Got a blue one on the way like your avatar - has clear - looks sweet. Got a silver one coming as well without them so... want to fix that - US ebay sells them for 30 to 50 + postage
  19. Ebay US sells these for 30 to 50 + postage - could not find anywhere else selling them on eBay. Does anyone know a better place to get them? Direct from Japan some how? url? got a silver manual one coming in and I am pretty sure it has orange indicators... The clear ones make these cars look so much nicer!
  20. Hello all, This might have been asked already but a quick search did not help. Aside from TV and SAT NAV which will both not work in Oz without being "fixed"... does the TV display anything useful? Fuel consumption? Engine management of any kind? Graphs? In other words if you do not plan to pay 3G to get it converted is there really any benefit to going a V35 with the TV etc compared to one without? Aside from using the video in for reversing cameras or aftermarket DVD players etc?
  21. Yeah there was more stand staff and event organisers on the Sunday than there were visitors! If you did not stick around for the stage shows you could have been in and out in less than 15 minutes! Pretty crap really! For photos of the day go here... (Note: car pictures will be added when I get time... at this stage only the important stuff is up! That said - Sammy Dee put on a very good show on stage!
  22. So far found some random places... $385 AU - seems to cheap Same again but from Bullet Proof $926.25 US http://www.gialla.co.jp/gialla/index2.html ¥58,000 ¥35,000 $931.00 US $748 US $420.00 US $409.50 US $608 US $1023 US
  23. Amazing - the number of Prestige Motors that are in Australia! You have the importers in WA - Geoff who runs Prestigemotorsport.com.au who brings in the WALD kit for the 4 door V35's. We have a prestige motors in SA - but they deal high end BMW's etc... Eitherway... do they have a Web site? Might check them out... but the cost to pay some one in another state to import it for me then have to pay trucking on top of that to get it to SA... probably cheaper to buy the Nismo one myself from Japan and get it shipped direct!
