  1. aww nah she knows what a turbo sounds like thanx to my car  but her folks didn't want her to get a turbocharged car, an her insurance is heaps cheapa den mine As fer da really low k's the car looks really top notch. a few scratches on the side of the bumper but that's understandable. As fer performance the engine bay looks well maintained an it runs smoothly an quietly, all points that this car is on the level It'll make fer a really nice daily driver
  2. hey every1, mah cousin recently entered the exciting world of skyline ownership & after seeing my car bought herself a nice R33, excellent condition an really low Ks. BUT I noticed that her wheels only have 4 studs/spokes. I'm confused as I have only ever seen R33s with 5 studs on the wheel, She's not really into cars so she's got no idea either (bought it coz she thinks itz sexy). I'm just wondering if this is normal or if the dealership sold my cousin a shifty skyline. I'm also a little concerned about how the car is a 1993 but only has about 66,000kms on the meter :uhh: Her car is a 1993 series 1 R33 coupe, N/A though What's your opinion?
  3. Ay, Just a few points to add to what you said; The R34 featured in the dvd was the GTR V-Spec2 Nur which I think is the car developed by the Nissan factory in Nurburgring, Germany. Not entirely sure about the specs but pretty sure the Sti is still faster. (If anyone else knows more on this topic feel free to correct me ) The reason I think the Sti came second is because early on the WRX got stuck behind the R33 in the first lap, then had a dogfight with the EVO8 till the end of the race. I you watch the dvd closely they state that the Rexxie clocked the fastest lap time to catch up with the EVO an the R34 Regarding the R32 it was apparently the only car on the track that didn't have an oil cooler fitted. hope that cleared some things up for ya :headspin:
  4. Ay everyone, pretty sure this has been covered countless times but I'll ask anyway... Has anybody out there with Auto R33's converted their cars to a manual. If so around how much did it cost u, whether you needed to source certain parts by yourself, and any complications that kinda stuff... I bought the auto for practical purposes but the manual bug keeps biting (the only manual car in my family is a corolla) Any feedback would be awesome
  5. Alright! Thanx for the explanation man real helpful. just anotha question... Is it for added downforce while driving like I think it is or is it for sumthin else? thanx again man
  6. Hi everyone, I recently bought an R33 GTS that came with an 'electronic spoiler' that activates from the dash with two buttons & 'spoiler up' & ' 'down' written on them, that lowers part of the front bumper (I'm guessing to help add to the downforce?) and for some reason only lowers when I'm not in gear (It automatically goes back up when you get into gear) or sometimes it won't lower at all. I'm not sure if all R33s have this or not, so my question is whether anyone else knows what I'm talking about & why it will only lower when I'm not driving the car I'm very confused with this thing so any feedback is much appreciated
