Route details are the same old kid, as for leading it i have 7days of work to get done on the car in 2 so i know mine wont be ready intime. I will no doubt be getting a lift with someone or i'll bring the FC :laughing-smiley-014: I think the easiest thing to do is grab something to eat at Orford once everyone gets there rather than a BBQ this time unless anyone has any better ideas??? Well for starters it depends what you want to do with the car and the suspension set up you will go. Obviously a track only car is going to be set up different to a street daily driven car. What are the spring rates currently or are you going to change them? Have you or are you thinking of upgrading anything else like control arms, castor bars etc??? Are you able to get them checked before purchasing them??? A few things to think about before rushing into buying the first cheap of coil overs you come across GMB

I've got a vertex kit (has been sitting here for a year and half ) but if i do decide to put a kit on im keen on something a little different but having trouble finding a supplier The only down side is getting in/out of my driveway and using the car on a regular basis with the clearance issues with a kit fitted Get some pics up of the change over Dave

Hang on your first post said that you had grooves in your disks causing vibration hence why they were machined in the first place but that would generally be caused by warping as well... If thats the case then they will generally machine each disk to the same drop so that you not only get even wear but also lifetime out of the set and not having to replace 1 or 2 at different times. Did you talk to your mechanic before/after you picked them up and question why they were machined to the levels they were and also what tolerance would be left??? You can be lucky sometimes and have them machined exceeding the minimum thickness but its not really recommended and most places would probably refuse to do so. If your brakes are set up correctly then you shouldn't have to worry about the rotor for a while so chances are your not even going to own the car by the time they have to be machined again due to wear and tear anyhow
