bad luck matey, the defect doesnt look too bad though couldve been heaps worse. shouldnt be too difficult to get it cleared if the cop really wanted to be a c**t he wouldnt of let you chuck a shit lol. good luck with the defect clearing.. looking at the bright side, at least with the 3 months you have off you'll save alot of money not driving and modding

hey guys my car has been in the garage since the start of october and its set to get new turbos due to the blown ones, however i want to check the compression b4 towing it off to the workshop and finding out that i need a rebuild. i havnt bought the turbos yet incase i need a rebuild, because if i do i will probaly sell the car as is i dont know what other tools you need for compression tests but ive got socket set already so if anyone can come and do a test for me id more then appreciate it! i can offer a case of beer if anyones interested! since thats the usual form of currency around here for help lol im in the western suburbs of sydney (blacktown area)

yes for new turbos to replce the blown ones.. car has been sitting in the garage since october here the pics. has 12 months warranty from purchase. i looked at receipt jus then it was purchased 01/10/06. havnt had any problems with it! all items are original and as you can see look pretty much brand new / untouched!

ah yes cuz i previously had a momo gear knob which was liek that then used allen key screws to squeeze the plastic adapter over the shifter. altho the gear knob i have now is a screw on type with nothing to tighten it onto an adpater, as it was specifically for 33/34 GTR. (i kno stupid me for not checking, i jus assumed they were all the same) ive checked the whoole box only the gear knob & stickers in it

hey guys i bought a hks d1 gear knob for my 32 gtr. unfortunantly it is a 12mm screw in for 33/34 gtr anyway to make it fit on my 10mm shifter?

on a side note, wouldnt cars that are +15y/o be able to have any tint they want?

i'd say about 25bux? quite a large & heavy package. and you'd obviously want it packaged as secure as possible will do it for $650 delivered though.

couldnt have said it better myself i wait for the day i get my hands on a fd lol. but yes. i bought my '90 32gtr for 18k start of this year, only problem ive had so far is blown turbos and i do admit that was my fault for upping the boost to 1bar. other then that jus had the few minor maintenance fixes: brake pads/rotors needed to change and split old vaccum hoses/cooler pipes etc (usual stuff you'd have to change on a old car). still runs llke a dream basically and not 1 bit regretting buying the car. 18k and it has served me well even as a daily driver. so yeah doesnt necessarily mean jus cause u pay 25k+ that there wont be anything wrong with it. i could very well slap a for sale sign on mine for 25k and you couldnt even tell i bought it for 18k. if you want peice of mind get one with a rebuilt engine already

i was in ur situation b4, i bought the 33 gtst due to the money i had at the time.. 1 year later i got a 32 gtr lol.. and when i think of it i shouldve went the gtr straight away because i spent money modding the 33 and then resold it for less then i bought the car! but neither cars i bought had anything wrong with them. so yeah not really much maintenance costs

ive looked around, theres $350 from BOSimporting, $390 for mild steel from UAS, xforce ones are about $499, but yeha the ebay ones are like 200 lol.

i usually do a 6-7000rpm launch for the strip. os giken twin plate clutch.

its got a preset tune for bolt on mods (exhaust, air filter, boost). so saves you from say going to buy a power fc & getting tune (~$1500 if your getting brand new).
