I was looking for cheapish houses on the southside.. Mount Gravatt/Holland Park. But they don't seem to exist. Plus I did the mortgage calaculator and it said I could borrow $14,000 (that's not a typo) for a house. .... I couldn't even buy another skyrice for that to live in. I'm doomed!

Just read an article on the Zoom Auto Imports van. Interesting stuff. I thought I'd post it up here for you to read too Troy has been out on one of our Thursday night cruises, so some of you may remember this car.... (err... van?) It's pwerdy. :aroused:

I was also quite suprised at the lack of speed cameras/rbt's on the raod through the christmas break. I did a good 100k's a day and didn't see one RBT (cept christmas eve and the wankers were making a traffic jam onto the freeway so they had to keep letting heaps of cars througH) and the odd cop car. Christmas night we drove from Mt Gravatt to Brownsplains and back without seeing one cop car. New Years Eve I saw two cop cars and they were on a main road just driving. Watching the news however, there were more drink drivers this year than last, but less road deaths. Weird. I went through a speed camera yesterday (is yesterday still classed as the holiday period?) on Ferry Road/Bermuda Street. Not sure if it flashed me but I was a little (read 10k's) over the limit. Andrew reckons I was too far away for it to have flashed at me. It was heavy traffic too. But yeah, the cops must have been somewhere if they caught so many drink driving (wankers!)

My mum's work had a thing where if you didnt take any sick leave in a 6 (i think it was) month period, you would get a bonus and she did it and got paid like $200 or something?

Probably just the normal saturday night run down the coast. Hopefully after this weekend once everyone's back from holidays we will start with the official planning of events for SAu members.

With the guys at my work, if you have more than 2 consecutive sick days you need a certificate, but if you also have a sick day after a weekend, rostered day off or a public holiday, you also need to provide a medical certificate.
