  1. copy from ed - emanage = Apexi S-AFC??? The closest competition to the E-manage is the Apexi Super-AFC. The Super-AFC is a very nice and powerful unit, and they both have their advantages and disadvantages. The E-manage is far more capable, but does require a laptop (or the E-01 boost controller) to program. The Super-AFC is simpler, but is self-contained – you program it right on the unit's display. The Super-AFC doesn't handle larger injectors as easily as the E-manage, doesn't control additional injectors, doesn't do ignition timing, and doesn't have datalogging (though it does do some MAP tracing on the screen, but they can't be saved and are tricky to interpret). It's still a great computer, though. The E-manage is really the next step up.
  2. Power Fc is a stand alone computer, e-manage is only a piggy back. power FC disable the speed limit but e-manage don't. e-manage only control the fuel inject but not the igition time(opition, need to pay for extra), power FC done both. therefore, power FC has wider range of tuning ability but u pay for more. personal i will go for e-manage coz it a bit more than 1/2 of power Fc price but does things close to power FC. also, when i change my car, i can take the e-manage with me.
  3. i have driven a few N/A SUPRA and the torque at low revs was SO good, if we start racing at 1500rpm at 4th gear, i think i will lose for sure
  4. if the airbag is factory standard instead of option, it is illegal;)
  5. recently best motoring test drive the Evo 8 and comepare to a Evo 7, the Evo7 has shorter 3 & 4 gear than Evo 8, but the 0-400 time are similar AYC & ACD used to be scary thing in Evo 4,5,6, most of owner disconnect them and use a LSD instead. Then they improve it and the super AYC seems to be a VERY nice things.
  6. FMIC, u have to pay someone to install it right? the $$ left will be front, dump pipe (H.F. cat as well?)if u don't got 1. there is no reason to get bigger tubro if u don't have FMIC and puschase aftermarket management the same time
  7. i think someone just post it up here in these few days. i don't think it looks agressive but very cute:love:
  8. Evo are not that powerful, Sti are not that shit they are in the same class. In Jap, the Sti is a touch expensive than Evo.(as i remeber) the WRX is more mature car then Evo (similar performance, but heaps better ride quality) and the Evo is following the way WRX goes(that's why the Evo 7 GTA was built) i agree Evo is a better car, but it doesn't worth the price different in Aus. BTW, have u EVER launch a Evo 8? WRX will eat Gts-t in daily life, coz heaps better traction when they launch
  9. the p1 forged is lighter than TE37, too. but the resale value may not as high as te37 nothing wrong with Chrome, u can get very light weight forged wheel in chrome, show & go :uh-huh:
  10. when the power FC landed in aus, it won't be $1015 due to custom, 15% tax plus 10% GST on top of the whole price mate
  11. really?? i just saw a 92 or 93 NSX go for around 35k, compare to 60k plus in aus , it was damn cheap!!

    JMS Drift Day

i keep asking for the price for the whole track, but maybe i am a kid, he don't think i can afford it. what he told me was forget about weekend, go at weekday, which will be $20 a day!!! from morning to late, he will kick u out if he has go-kart race at the afternoon, but u still got the whole morning, which is more than enough. steve, i have PM u his contact no. , give him a call about the information for hiring the whold track, hope we can have a SAU drift meeting soon
  13. really?? sorry if i am wrong
  14. as i know, and i am pretty sure, R32 and 33 wheel is NOT Forged aluminum but aluminum!(big different!!) only R34 GTR rims made in Forged aluminum i think they worth 1g;)
  15. i will go for european made if i am not puchasing the top of the range of jap's. u get for what u pay in european shockers, jap's are fancy stuff unless u can afford the light weight and advance design one.

    JMS Drift Day

i have been talking to the owner last time i went to the drift day about hiring the whole track myself:D , quite cheap actually. We can arrange a small group of people to hire it for pratice, and attend the next drift day;)
  17. i think they won't be AVS, are they HR or lenso? nice rim anywaY
  18. i guess the hipermaxones has aluminum body, which is a lot lighter. design makes a lot different, if the HKS one has a reervior tank which allow more oil in the suspension, it really worth the different. has tein HA on my car, very good handling but VERY hard, don't want to drive it after having a nice & full dinner, and GF complain that it will makes her breast fall down 10 years eariler! i guess HKS will have more balance between handling & ride quaility
  19. they are alright for performance, only noisey and have bad ride quaility. they are all the same as they made with same compound, size won't affect the quaility. The only reason most ppls with big rims having them, is because they are the cheapest performance tyre which have LARGE range of size. most of the brand only sell their TOP of the range performance tyre in low profile 17/18 or even 19. but falken have all of them even with the lowest range stock rim should be 6"5, fit 225/50/16 but i heard some one fit a 245/45/16, not sure though. hope that help
  20. yup, he install my EBC when the first few weeks in adelaide(dunno the way to go home)
  21. it will fit yr car but i think u will need spacer coz the brake calipers
  22. i rekon u will lost 30k-50k per tank as u will push the acc. harder for the increase performance and sound after the exhaust mod, but it worth it
  23. Turismo do treat me really well when i told them i am interest at buying a car, specially after i mention about i have 30K cash
  24. car is not all about preformance!! Corolla is a family car, now with a better engine, that's it. Have driven 1 of them (new corolla), very nice car, good handling and ride quaility, i like it. I will take it over a N/A skyline at any day.
  25. the last time i ring up bridgestone tyre centre, they told me the widest G3 available is 235, if u want to go wider, S-03 is the only way, never had S-03 b4, but i heard from friends they are REALLY good tyre.
