oh well the train system aint as bad as on the coast...at least in sydney u still have the option of the buses and also taxis (if ya wanna waste lots of $$$) or i would be able to drive to work!! When we had those bad storms a few weeks ago the only two ways home from sydney to the coast were both blocked (train and f3) so this incredible train system aint so bad plus you have the bonus of nearly all cuisines delivered to your house! I live in ourimbah...the closest food outlet to me is the chickadea factory oh and the rsl as layed back adn relaxing the coast is...syd is way more practical in the sense of way of life!! didnt take me too long to get home...my plan to go to the pub for a few hours instead of standinig around payed off well 10.35 n just got home

well thats just greeeaaaaat!! i wasnt so annoyed with the whole no trains between north sydney & gordon..this has just made me feel a whole lot better..... that move to sydney i been putting off is some reason looking a whole lot sweeter!

Well that just sucks....working in north sydney and living on the central coast. Being peak hour there will be a lot of people on the replacement buses. I guess there is only one thing you can do in a situation like this....go to the pub until the problem is sorted!! If the problem aint sorted, then going home with a few beers in my belly will make the long journey a little easier!

yea i was on the train after it... was speaking to some people that were on the train that had derailed. As much as i dispise cityrail and all the shonkiness that happens with them (i have had my fair share of bad experiences) I have to congratulate them on how well they handled this and how quickly they organised buses. I didnt get a bus until around 9, that was by choice... they advised everyone over to the RSL for warmth and comfort. I stayed there for a few beers to let the rush go then got a bus that wasnt so packed. all this weather is a little surreal... I hope some of all this water is getting where we need it.

not looking good. My brother is on the search. The car has turned up but the family is feared (close too) confirmed dead. Be a miracle if anyoen survives that! I hope everyone keeps safe and well! there was also a landslide/rockfall at wondabyne...causing a minor derailment and train delays for hours. I work in sydney and was stuck for 6 hours...everone took refuge at Hornsby RSL... not so bad..at least we are alive and well.. I just hope everyone else is safe and keeps out of harms way

some crazy sh1t.... I was reading somewhere that even though they were anchored, the swells and winds were that forcefull that it couldnt hold the anchorage.... apparently a few of the ships ignored some of the weather warnings and didnt go out to sea as far as recommended as they didnt think the seas would get that bad... good luck to them.. I hope no one gets injured. A bridge on the Old Pacific Highway on the Central Coast @ Somersby collapsed, a car had fallen 10 metres or something into the water below and all occupants of the car are missing - suspected dead... it was a family with 2 children. My brother is a volunteer with fire brigade and has been assisting all night and have been unsuccessful in finding them. the car was washed up but no people. I was catching train home from city, and there was a landslide/rockfall at wondabyne causing all trains to stop. I was on the train behind but apparently some rocks hit the train and caused it to derail slightly... as far as i know no one is hurt yet.... hope all gets better and everyone keeps safe!!!

As title... need a new headlight for r33 gtst s1 the left hand side had a dumb bitch who dont know road rules leave round about and hit me after i already left...the bitch took off... not much damage but head light bracket broken... can be glued but would rather a new one or good condition second hand one if someone can help me out!

dunno where it went or how it went missing but i am missing the little 30mm plastic cap that goes on the radiator overflow. i have been to all the auto places and they dont sell them by themselves you have to purchase a whole new unit! and a milk bottle cap is just that bit too small. does anyone have a spare one they can help me out with?? cheers

Heya, My mate needs to find somewhere that sells aftermarket fog lights that would fit a honda civic. I went on the Honda forums but they were not very helpful, figured skyliners seem to know a lot about everything so someone here might be able to help out with somewhere that sells them??
