  1. i was going to go a 3" xforce might stilll....but i wanted something bigger....say 3.5" anyone got any ideas on that as well?
  2. what i was thinking....there is no point in reving the rb30hybrid higher cause its power is lower down...the 2.7 stroker would rev better then a 2.8 too. but a 2.8 would technically have more torque. If you want it to rev stay with a smaller stroke...maybe even just stroke it a touch and put in 40thou oversize pistons etc.
  3. i have one too...though it is still in my shed cause i havent put my zhaust on yet...so i dont see the point in puttin it on...I wont be puttin it on myself though...dont want to stuff with my wiring.

  7. i remember on my r32 i cleaned it out once, but it was not part of the rail...on the r33 i am not sure. installing one though, just remove the old one and put in the new, if it is electronic then i wouldnt try it, i would be replacing all the efi full line while i did it too, to make sure that nothing happens. as for placement, dont make it too far away, prob on the firewall. to tune it you will need a dyno prob, or trial and error. The original fuel reg is located inbetween the plenum and the tapper cover i think.
  8. nah sr20 more torque in low revs then rb20. i like mine to rev though, hence why i dont have an sr20.
  9. less restriction means you can put more air through the piping and engine with less work in the turbo, so the more boost is capable. 8psi in a normal I/C flows less air then 8psi in a high flow situation. This is the same with stock turbos and higflow turbos.
  10. check yout idle air control valve...it is a brass/copper colour cylinder on you plenum (at the back). Could be your AFM, or it could be your bov...give the idle air control and bov a carby clean. But also could be your afm....clean these others first if not them then give it pluged in at a dyno and they will tell you. As for clutch i can get you some plates, let me know what your interested in. - heavy duty - brass button - ceramic sprung or unsprung - all sorts can find you a price too if you want. prob startin around $250
  11. keep your revs up off the line, and be prepared to clutch it again if you dont get the start you need. Just make sure he doesnt stall his up

I have a stock r32 literally stock...but i have a fmic...it looks better:P its doesnt do anything on its own though...went your turbo warms up it provides a cooler air flow to the engine...hence and better burn in the engine...not really more power...a little but makes it more efficient when more boost is loaded into the engine...when you compress the air it gets hot so it helps with more boost and more air....but you still need the fuel and ecu to keep up.

I have a stock r32 prob put out 120rwkw if that....cant say i get handed my arse by really anything except other turboed cars...i mean i would get beaten by modded R8's...but i expect that since they are running 2.5 times the power and 2.5 times the capacity. They dont whoop my arse though... and as for top end...i dont think anything car really beat a force feed car. My opinion Maybe look at your technique at driving dude
  15. Hybrid do a kit as well. I have a cheaper version of a hybrid kit and i did it myself took some time as i was by myself but yeah it fits fine. I might be able to let you know if the guy still does em.
  16. well depends on the engine load i guess...should spool before 3000. if it is unlimited then there is an air leak as well....cause once the actuator reads .5 bar...then it opens and doesnt allow it to spool futher. so maybe the lines arent connected right.

I have an r32 gtst, with a stock engine and everything else, apart from the front mount. at about 6000-7000 rpm it sounds wierd, not pinging, but kinda rough sounding. the car has stock exhaust, the only thing upgraded is the plugs really, a colded one. but it has not always sounded like it does now. i was thinkin that it could be the O2 sensor as that hasnt been changed and it is running rich. Any thoughts

  21. off the top of my head i cant say. try to match up the year of the cars or as close to as possible. they might be the same...see if they fit the mountings, the mountings are there.

  23. i'd be warry about the tps..cause it is electric ...try cleaning out the idle vaccum in that black square..and also the brass cylinder on the back of the plenum...2 screws...make sure you dont lose the bits...lots of carbon build up there...carby clean put in back in should be good cant hurt it. also could be you afm...becareful if it starts stalling....i would guess it be that.
  24. i saw this topic and went ahh cool...old school cruise....i dont see why people are flingin crap in the fan. if you dont have a 32 then get in one, but i see it as a place when other 32 owners can look at same model cars not newer ones. something of a nissan cruise but smaller really. your not going to miss out on much if you dont have one. so if you dont have one then dont worry. i dont see the point in tryin to make it bigger, if a 33 cruise comes around i wont be going in my 32. cause i dont really want to. I bought a 32 for a reason...and i am sure you all bought 33's for a reason, so BE COOL about it.
