obviously whatever day/date/time it ends up been ill try and make it as will others but id have to say i think the friday option will be not very popular with most people from the way i see it there are a few reasons why like..... if u have to travel like i do (1.5 hrs or so) the friday thing makes it mean an after work dash and then a mad dash home before i fall asleep at the wheel lol... plus people living within bris area its still a decent drive for most people...... im not trying to make it all my own way just pointing out what i hope are a few decent pros/cons for each..... sat or sunday and i rekon ill be able to come and relax .... a poll is a good idea i cant wait to see everyones cars on the dyno wish mine could go on
hmmmm question's 1: how does one dent a valve 2: how does he know has dented it without pulling it to bits..... are u sure he diddnt say BENT????? chances are if its from a timing belt associated problem there will be a few more than just 1 bent valve...if thats the case the head will have to come off and replace the valve and cut a new seat into the head ...... normal everyday stuff but not exactly cheap...... good luck dude...
im thinking the saturday is a good thing erin.... cause not many ppl work that late on a saturday anyway so its good all round then we can cruise together to the bwcp or similar for some testing of the black dyno with the white lines
when i bought my new gt28 440hp i asked specifically when they made the braided oil feed if i needed a restrictor and both the guys at the shop said no in these sort of turbos (meaning garrett gt series i presume??) they have an inbuilt restrictor so suit the application.... but also on the other hand SK's comment about the varying oil pressures in different engines has me thinking.......though mine has been on the car for about 3000km without the slightest puff of smoke or problem with just a braided open line from the factory oil feed in the block to the turbo.......
i have tein hr in my r32 gtst...
they are great i was always told they would be way too rough but i just went ahead and got them.... they are very firm but i wouldnt say rough.....mine are just height adjustable like all hr i think they made my r32 handle great just by installing them.....but if they are cheap and u like a firm ride go and buy some they are great!!!
i have some bits that you need....s13 clutch pedal,brake pedal,clutch master cylinder,gearbox crossmember tell me what u figure its worth so i can see if u have something i would trade ya....

the 92 model should be the red one..... thats the one i would like.... but u say u have the red/blue/white one which is the 91 model..... just tell me which cars u have still got and ill see what i would like thanks Jon
wanted to buy a very cheap stuffed rb20 turbo with actuator and oil return or possibly just the actuator and or oil return seperatly anyone got one for me at all?????
most shops u will find wont wanna do it cause to do it properly they will have to blend the top of the guards and stuff like that and for what they'll get paid its not worth them doing it so a: they quote high price or b: say they are too busy......
the rb20 bottom end has been sold ,willing to try and do some good deals to try and move some of this stuff guys may possibly accept trades for some jap drift/option/best motoring dvd's even copies possibly
i know for sure that the honourable "sydneykid" will be able to help me here .... just wondering if anyone would be able to give me a starting point for my adjustable cam gears on my rb20det..... main mods it has:
*500hp roller bearing turbo
*big front mount
*microtech
*gtr injectors
*and i wanna get gtr cams b4 they go on too
just be handy to have a starting point to start from to save a bit of dyno time i spose..... also can anyone tell me how to distinguish between gtr camshafts and standard rb20 etc cams i dont wanna get ripped off :Oops: ??? thanks guys Jon
