Dont know about the springs they are blue .... and i didnt install them - they are just really low.... my mechanic wants to raise my car 10mm but i wont let him.... thats probably the problem. new KYB shocks - apparently they are supose to be fairly similar to the stock ones that go into the skylines.

it hink men are just programmed to say the wrong thing ....... i have an automatic dislike for people that immediately think ive got my car only for show value if theres one way to piss me off its to say stoopid shit like that and imply im stupid like girl that potters around in her car.

well my car doesnt do track and not likely to do much track ..... i cant see the advantages of hard suspension versus soft ..... i mean it stops body roll - but ive still got body roll so i would be better off with softer suspension anyway.

if i had run up a curb or something i would understand cos i did that with the ZX - bent something and it never handled the same again ...... but this car hasnt been in anything like that

Wilkinsons dont like me ..... told them to get Bilsteins in but after 8 weeks they rang me to say they had them in ...... and i had to cancel cos i had them done by someone else.

paul the surface u had it on didnt give me a chance to priove my point that stretch of roe hwy is a newly surfaced flat road ..... u try taking it to one of country runs its no fun cos the car is bouncing like crazy vibrating .... not to mention the state of my brakes at the mo. I cant push it cos its just not safe.

nah tried that - on my old tyres anyway. I would take it to a suspension shop and ask them what they think but a girl going into a shop and saying theres something wrong with her car but doesnt know what it is tends to put dollar signs in their eyes!

Paul i dont think your the best person to judge it cos your suspension is so hard - that its normal to you ...... need someone with more stock like mine i think - i just know what the car is like and i appreciate that its been lowered and stuff .... but it was nowhere near like that before - i can even pinpoint the day where it changed to the way it is now.

yeah its funny cos they sound like what your tyres do when you've just done a burnout - you know how sand n crap sticks to them - well my tyres sound like that most of the time.

yeah grip pretty damn well too ..... no more wet weather taking off spinning wheels going sideways without trying..... hmmm kinda ruined my fun actually. but i still dont believe my suspension is suppose to be liek that at all!! it wasnt always like that even with eggy tyres ..... its pretty harsh and it feels ike its getting worse ..... its uncomfortable to drive and at 140km an hour theres still a lot of vibration thru the front tyres vibration and bouncing at high speeds doesnt make me feel very confident in the car

Paul im not saying dont put other gauages in - im saying theres nothing wrong with Rob's oil pressure thats quite normal ..... i had the same query a while ago that my oil pressure was on 1/2 on idle - 8 first thing in morning and 4 on normal driving ....... theres a thread even clarifing thats what everyones does.

my cars tyres seem to be picking up stones and flinging them anyway every now and then u get a big *bang* as one hits something hopefully the wheel arch
