Hey people, Im just replacing the cam oil seals. Its RB25. Everywhere seems to indicate that both seals are the same part number, however, the diameter of the end of the cams are different...... This means the ex cam seal is a perfect fit, but the inlet has a gap between the cam and seal...... can someone confirm this is ok before i re-assemble everything. Thanks in advance.

Hello people. I am returning my motor back to standard and putting a standard head back on. I bought the complete head including cams etc.... Problem i have is that i dont know how to position the CAS onto the cam as the cam is not keyed...... in past i have just slotted the CAS on as it can only be position one way due the the keyway. Has anyone seen this before? How can i safely position the CAS without risk of smashing more valve? Ryan

Hey mate. Good to hear it got sorted. I had to send auspost the receipt about 3 times, they kept on losing it!!! pm me your address again as i dont have it from the head gasket anymore and ill fire off my bank details. eXquiSit - as for the speedo, on R32 they are a mechanical device, r33 have a sensor on the drive unit which transmits to the cluster. So effectively you need a unit to fit the r33 g/box with a mechanical sender on it for the r32. Make sense? Ill let you know if the sale doesn't go through, however i assume it will as Mark has proven to be a reliable buyer. Cheers

yeah i am looking at the idea. Sometimes i just prefer knowing what the motor has gone through i.e. i know my motor has been looked after...... second hand head may be more trouble, particularly after the problems i seem to attract with second hand stuff. thanks for the suggestion though

So my timing belt tensioner shat itself and goodbye valves. I am now after new valves, i don't need forged or performance type, im just wanting to replace them. Nissan want $30 per inlet and $54 per exhaust valve. Are there any companies that do an after-market replacement for these? Basically i just want the best possible price as the car is being returned to stock to sell. So anyone that has purchased some for a cheaper price, im asking for your help. I also needs stem seals so same deal for them as well. Cheers.

So my tensioner let go and smashed a few valves. Pretty sure its the exhaust side. So im after a price for 12 exhaust valves. Also a price on inlet valves as well would be handy in case some of them let go as well. Must be new. Oh, just remembered i'll need stem seal as well so a price on them also.

yep no prob. im gonna try get some pics up tomorrow. Also, g/box sold, however without the slave cylinder and modified speedo drive were not sold with it and now for sale. Brand new genuine slave cylinder $80 Modified speedo drive. Drive unit is brand new!! $65 Pics will be up asap.

most likely a bearing of some sort mate. sound like its external though, id be checking all your belts. Take them off and inspect, whilst they're off spin the alternator and even try the power steer pump etc..... if thats all good id be checking ya water pump and idler and pulley bearing. good luck

About 2500 - 3000kms done. Never really been pushed. Only got tuned last month and never got around to taking to track so.... honestly.... this turbo has reall never been pushed. Also, just to answer another common question atm, turbo is still on car so i don't really have any pics now, also on that note, i will need a standard RB25 turbo to replace this with therefore as far as price goes ill take $1350 + a good condition RB25 turbo with lines..... perfect option for anyone upgrading!!!
