300's are shite sorry to say. There only good for the business men who cant yet afford a proper sports luxury. They are crap!! Look at the UAS one lol. Has had so much money dumped into it with no returning results besides a big dyno figure.

chinkeboi replied to TokyoTaxi's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
most gtr parts are lighter than gtst parts? Is this gtr boot made of alluminium or is it the same as a gtst? -

Don't laugh at my attempt lol.. remember its the first working prototype. I'm going to make a refined one when i have the time. The lid is still yet to be mounted.. waiting for the glue to dry. I really cant be bothered making these to sell as it will be too difficult to get them to the EXACT measurements for each car.. 2mm off and the thing is useless. I can provide direction/instruction for those who wish to make their own. I have a few detailed sketches with approx measurements and dimensions. Thanks, Ben. -

oh thats a GREAT help thanks man ^^ i msg'd freddy from topstage, even he doesnt .. or is unwilling to make them anymore for the R32 gtst unless your from his state so you can go in for a test fit.. he said that if its off by even 2mm it wont fit.. ohh and about the topstage shield.. i can see the left side wall of it goes down to the bottom but is the a top back wall of the shield that goes across the top of the heat shield (horizontally)? thanks, Ben. -
Apexi Power Intake - Differences
chinkeboi replied to dd4321's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
lol the chrome is a paint isnt it? its made of the same material just painted in the chrome colour.. either way its a bling thing and wont effect performance.. not to a noticable extent anyway -

I'll see if its viable to start making them for setups similar to mine (using the apexi bracket for the pod as well as having stock IC piping). I'll come up with a working prototype and then gather numbers. It doesnt look too great though as there arent that many of us with our setup. And once you get a FMIC the setup will be kinda redundant. Feel free to express interest now though Either way this will serve as a guide for future reference Ben. -

^^ no need to be sorry! thanks! Your pod sits so far to the front of the engine bay. Which is probably because you have a front mount right? So far my design is for people running the stock SMIC
