  1. masters, mr mayhem and bayswater are all close by .. cheers.. i will check with them.
  2. when you install an atmo valve, make sure the return valve is sealed up, and if it's stalling when coming down to idle, try and adjust the valve a bit tighter... that way it will close sooner and it should hopefully fix your problem. However, if you are giving it crap, you may experience backfiring on gearchanges etc as the car will run rich every time the BOV vents.
  3. Hey all, Just wondering if anyone knows any wreckers in Perth who are pulling apart a R33 GTSt? I'm looking for another oil pressure sender and seeing if I can get one cheaper than from Nissan themselves. Cheers

    Shtuff

Is that just for RB26s or is it the same for RB25s too?
  5. I took that as it only takes effect when warm .. in any case, i'll have a look at your suggestions and go from there. Cheers
  6. Hey guys, One thing that has become more apparant as of late... When the car is not up to operating temp yet, sometimes the car will hunt when it's idling at the lights. It doesn't happen all the time but does happen quite often. Has anyone experienced this and possible solutions? I've had a search and found a tutorial on cleaning the AAC valve : http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...110431&st=0 but it says that the AAC valve only comes into play when the car is warm, not cold... and theres no real problem when warm. The car is a 1996 R33 GTS-t. Cheers
  7. haven't received mine yet but look forward to getting it
  8. My problem was due to the BOV. It was opening on boost so the spring had to be adjusted. I have now since changed to a GFB StealthFX (with very little venting to atmo ... like a psst) and my symptoms are like 95% gone. The other 5% i think is due to the ECU... it'll flatspot every now and again but not to the extent it did earlier, where it did every run.
  9. Bass Junky or Dezz, any updates on how the fitment went? I know there have been problems but one more month and this has been going on for a year, and payment was in Feb! That was 8 months ago! It's getting ridiculous.
  10. I'm about 6 foot and my hair was touching the roof of a sunroofed R33. Since it keeps messing my hair.. i got one without heheh.
  11. Just something that popped into my head this morning... Many people when tuning their Skylines will lean out the mixtures as the stock maps tend to be on the rich side. If you put shit fuel in (normal ULP), the engine may ping its tits off. If you take too much fuel out of the map, it'll ping its arse off. This leads me to believe that it achieves the same outcome. My question is, on a relatively stock Skyline, would running 95 octane be better than 98 octane, simply because the engine would be running a little leaner? Please post up your thoughts...
  12. i'll take the ford .. sell it and free mod money!
