hey guys i have water marks and it looks like there is some sort of clear coat on the lip of my volks and just want to know how to diy taking it off and polishing it up again. could i use 800 wet and dry then 1200 then polish to bring them back to life? any help would be great

So I'll put a bolt through the wire and igniter module and ground the whole thing together Also could someone pls upload a pic of this it might help abit

Hey brett im having the same prob i think could you pls throw up a pic of the fuse box and the actual fuse you changed -
its still getting painted atm with the earth wire from the igniter module does it have to be earthed with the module or just the wire on its own because i drove the car without the earth connected and i havent touched anything and know it just wont start

hey guys i tried grounding the earth wire of the igniter module to the cam cover and still no luck this is getting on my nerves now one minute the car works the next it wont crank over

Hi Mate try adaudip i put them in my signature they should be able to match the colour

depending on how bad it is take it to a mob called aquadip i have seen them fix up faded carbon bonnets just by cutting back the resin and reclearing it again i think it would be better because clear takes alot longer to fade and go that yellow colour than resin

It should be hard to do yourself 1200 wet sand then polish presto i think i need to do this on my volk gt-c they starting to look abit dull

i drove the car on wednesday let it warm up gave it a quik wrap around the block to show a mate the back home now wont start i think either the plugs might be fould up or somthing with the igniter module im going to change the plugs and earth the igniter module and recheck all the coils

Ok tried earthing everything with no luck it try's to start but doesn't kick over fuel is low but light not on so can't really be low on fuel
