Thanks for the offers and replies guys but after what prank said in my thread in general discussion, i dont think i actually have a short shifter installed Thus i made the decision i will be keeping it untill next week when i take it in for a service/tune. Ill bump the thread up next week if i dont need it Once again sorry i cant sell atm, seriously clueless

My rubber is cut too Dave... To install the short shifter do i have to pull the rubber up thus tearing it? Im not sure whether i should install or not, i could be replacing a short shifter with a short shifter seriously clueless atm...

My c's short shift arrived this afternoon I decided to install tonight, around 10 minutes ago After i unscrewed the base plate i realised that my current shifter looks the same size as the c's one, i didnt want to rip the rubber up just in case it was Im sorta stuck now, how do i know if ive already got a short shifter? I put the c's short shifter next to my "stocky" and the length and position of the rounder bit at the bottom is exactly the same! They are identical in length, so this must mean ive had a short shifter and i didnt even notice it? Anyone got a pic of a stock shifter who can post it up would be much appreciated

Its definately the best way to remove decals, about promising that it wont screw up your paint...well, it doesnt take that much constant applyed heat to weaken the decal glue Just heat it up enough and they should peel easily,

I got rid of mine using a Hair Dryer!
