i had mine on the top of the dash... looked good...but it would look even better for cops and theives...but i dont drive my car much...and wen i got dune for speeding the cop didnt even say anything about all the stuff on my dash..he had a good look tho!
from wot ive heard in japan they have some gtr's running over 1000hp with the emanage...im not 100 % sure... as if a safc can do that..
if i was to get a stand alone ems.. i wouldnt get a pfc.. ill grab a motec
u can get it from nengun with ignition and injector harnesses for about $608.....i think
calvintys..even a safc can blow the motor if not tuned rite..
if ur going to get a base unit get the safc....
if u r going to upgrade slowly get the emanage..
there are plenty of sites to read about the emanage..most in jap.
but read about all the add on's..as well
even with a pfc its better to get a ebc
and wif the e-01 ur going to have a very nice setup
1st of all find wot power level u want and get ur stuff to suit..
u can get it for around 600 dude
and it is heaps better than a safc...
if u get the profect e-01 as well .. than it is very good unit.
wot people dont understand is that u need to get the harnesses as well.. there are about 5 in all i think..
injector harness,,(us this harness to increase your injectors duty cycle, injector logging and to control sub-injectors)
ignition harness....(us this harness to control your ignition system timing)
yes i agree...but 1 out of 20 time u race some 1 on a twisty road..
and 7 out 10 people who do up a car dont consider getting the rite suspension for the job...or they get 18 inch rims ..when that low profile is ghey for strait line traction...nice fat 16 inch rims with soft compound tyres will do wonders....
well ive got a e-manage on the way...with some reading i found the e-manage the way to go...
1...u can take it with u when u sell the car..
2...it can work with auto trans..
3...it does wot the pfc can do..
4...cheaper...
5..i got a loptop for it..
6..i got the e-01 ebc...
7..and the S-afc has nothing on the e-manage..that y im getting rid of the S-afc..
yes ur engine management system is only as good as the tuner...
and in japan they have cars with huge power and running the e-manage
