I'm planning on rebuilding my back dash. Wanting to show off an amp under some clear acrylic, with some lighting work as well. so i'm just looking for places that sell decent led's or neons. looking for blue or aqua colour

There are a couple of clips under the front of the seat, they're about 8 inches in from the edge of the seat. You have to give these a bit of tug, by pulling the seat up. Don't be scared. Once they pop push down on the back of the seat to lever it out.

Yeah bout 5 secs. gonna replace the timing belt next service, plus some of the gaskets. get it all done then.

that's something else i forgot to mention. after getting it to start. go for a 10 min drive, pull up whack it into park(neutral), and the engine revs back and forth from 1000 rpm to 2500 rpm 5 or 6 times then settles down to idle round 1000rpm.

okay first when i hop in the car first thing in the morning, turn the key around to where the dash lights light up. (not starting the car) I hear this whining/groaning noise, sounds like it's coming from the rear of the car. second when i try to start it it won't fire up. well it does, but it sputters then stops, does this three or four times of times. Once it started it fine. Both only seem to happen in the morning then it's fine for the rest of the day. Would it be fuel related or electrcal? stock rb20de cefiro. cat back 2.5' zaust

What is the best way to strap down a pre-fab sub box, to stop it flying around the boot when racing, I mean drivng sedately around the streets???

Didn't really notice, but it wouldn't drop into Odrive properly, once or twice while traveling around. Then it just wasn't worth using ODrive to much jumping between gears. Don't know if this would be any similar to your prob or not?

my rb20 auto used to do that only in ODrive, then 2nd, now it sitting on front yard waiting for new gearbox :goddam: :cuss:

Okay i've got a 12" ts-w1201 pioneer sub (500W rms 1000w max) in cubic foot ported sub box. just wonndering what the length of the port should be? I've heard there is a formula to work it out.

would a rb20det gearbox be okay on a rb20de.

Well i just got back from the automatic transmission mechanic. He told me that when he took the pan off of my car that it was full of metal shaving, that it had propably thrown a bearing, or that something had disintigrated, and i had better start saving my pennies, blah blah blah. All i heard was time to stick in a nice lovely 5 speed manual. My only prob is i would not have a clue on where to start and where to go. :confused: So please feel free to give me all your wonderful advice. If there is anything south or west of brisbane (Ipswich or Browns Plains way) that would be good. For Cefiro rb20de.

I agree, i have 2 1/2" cat back with cannon. sounds sweet. lovely vibrations throughout the car. needed to turn the stereo up for some reason though. :looney:

I got a set of 6" inch splits sitting in a piece of mdf in behind the door panel. No fuss at all.
