  1. Another R34GTT tune... 208rwkw is a very good number! I presume your car is a manual? This may explain the variance of 13-14kw between yours and mine since we have pretty much the same mods. However, if you look at the graph in my blog, you'll notice that curve does not have any 'kinks' in it... maybe if you sort that out you'll be looking at 220rwkw which should be the correct difference between auto and manual.
  2. I'll post a photo up when I get home tonight... can't do it right now. Yeah, the hose connectors are right opposite each other - the design is just like a Cusco can. Even if I can't make the divider inside the can as you suggested, you rekon it's a good idea to just stuff the can with kitchen scouers in stockings?
  3. Cheers for that... great help (especially about the filter) However, what if the I can't make a divide? The access hole is literally like the size of a 10c piece
  4. I remember seeing a thread about this a while ago, but my search turned up fruitless please don't kick me for posting this up again. Also, if there is anything here I have said that is wrong or dumb, please correct me by all means. Just got an Oil Catch Can which appears to be hollow = "unbaffled"? Reading up on it, this means that the can is pretty much pointless ~ not good! Someone said that steel wool in a stocking stuffed inside will solve this problem. Is this what baffling is? If so, what type of steel wool - what type of stocking And is it literally as easy as stuffing it into the can somehow? Thanks all... PS: Some of the cans I have seen have a filter on the top of it... does this filter have a purpose? I might think about modifying the can to fit a small K&N in there as well (good/bad, you tell me)
  5. PM Sent EDIT: Just received the package today at work Very happy with the product, nice touch with the packaging and business card as well. Thanks for all the comms during the sale Greg, this guy is awesome
  6. Nengun have stock for R33 but not R34... only other place I found to carry R34 keys was Powerplay Imports - but you have an R33 by your nick so nengun is the way to go
  7. HAHAHAHAHA Sorry, can't help but laugh at that one  I've got one of these keys - adds major bling factor! Much better than the dull black keys from factory. However, they do not really look that colour... you'll find it is much more metallic and not as much gold...
  8. That's where I think your unichip will have the advantage... the timing! Unlike yours, the SAFCII is limited to AFRs but the chip can have a lot more stuff put in provided that the tuner knows what he/she is doing... Worth a thought.
  9. I've got a R34GTT in tiptronic as well... currently using the SAFCII (tuned on Monday). Attached are my dyno graphs (sorry about quality). Peaked at 194.6kw which is less than yours (probably due to absence of full exhaust)... Also only running 10psi of boost Power curve is smooth, AFR curve is quite roller-coaster-ish
  10. Thanks Bob... do you think it's worth the money? Or better to stick with actual ECUs Do you think that dips and flat spots on the graph is due to the difference between a chip and a ECU? Maybe this is a trade off between the two?
  11. Just out of curiosity... Unichip mod and tune for the R34 will cost how much
  12. $150 for 10-15 minutes worth of dyno.... might was well go get a tune for that price?!?
  13. Hey Greg; any word on my unit yet? Thought it was being sent express?
  14. better... and I agree with you totally
  15. Cheers SK; everyone - now you know, damn AUTOs
  16. That wasn't nice
  17. 0% saving not good.... too many "what ifs" in life to cater for
  18. Well I'm not 100% sure on this one... but apparently its where the AUTO kicks in? I found this kinda strange as well - if someone has any ideas please share? How good would a smooth curve straight up and above the original line be
  19. BUMP Someones got to need a phone
  20. These are the two dyno sheets that were printed out... sorry about the crap quality in scanning (wouldn't believe how much trouble I had borrowing one).
  21. I just hit it lucky I guess; none of this would be possible now if it wasn't for the care and support of my friend/boss. I owe most of my life to her right now  And as for the young thing in my reply before; I'm 19 so there's still a long way to go before I'm done
  22. Well boys, there is a little rule that I follow in life: you're never too young to make your dreams come true Also, it's control - I divide my money like so; 50% Savings and General Spending 25% on my woman 25% on my car As you can see; the biggest winner is still ME and the EQUAL placegetters are my car and my woman. No arguements from either However, once the mods come to an end - the percentage towards it will 'lean' out and 'richen' towards my woman
  23. LOL Cheers Links I did go a little mental on mods; just didn't want to accept that shocking number from August!
  24. You mean the shift kit Adam? How much did all that set you back... and from reading that thread, it makes the car "jerk" on shifts which it is doing enough of right now
  25. Now how much are those babies worth
