  1. Have you tried the ash tray compartment?
  2. You should be getting over 200 then... I am assuming yours is an auto as well? 143.4kw at 7psi is rather low... my first dyno run ever on a rather stockish setup came up with 156kw?
  3. Installed this last night... had some trouble locating all the grounding points but I got there in the end. Tested it out this morning and can definitely see differences - the voltage meter doesn't drop anymore no matter how many buttons I press at the same time! Also noticed a little bit more ummpff down in the bottom gears - could be misconception. Have a shitty tape deck right now so no idea whether radio booms more; and as for lights - no lights during day time Question: The LED on the unit is always on, even when the car is off... this will have absolutely no chance of draining the battery yeah? I know this is a dumb question but just to be safe. Finally, talked to my mate this morning and he explained how it works... the unit is just packed with capacitators which hold voltage from the battery. Whenever there is a dip in the power curve (electrical), the unit will release charge and keep the curve pretty much flat. This explains how everything related to the electrics keeps running high if not "higher" since there is no drop in voltage. Sorry if I've repeated any information before. Will post photos of my install on my site later on. Thanks again Greg
  4. The heating will only work if the double sided tape is rubber based... some of that stuff which has a layer of foam is impossible to get off. Trust me I know; my SAFCII had a tonne of it from the previous owner and I spent the good part of 2 hours getting it all clean E_Lu_Shun - saw the thread re your SAFCII mounting... doesn't it get in the way when you're driving?
  5. Thanks for the PM; will consider the purchase...
  6. Thanks mate... now I definitely see the difference and the reason why you would want to change
  7. Called you this morning; just for your reference on our discussion... brand new unit currently $594 delivered.
  8. Hey nice site... I've got a website on my line too, do you mind if I link you up?
  9. Can there be such a thing as 50/50 fault? In this case all he was doing was reversing out of a parking space... whereas the other car was actually driving - I think the situation would depend on whether or not the other car was stationary at the time? If it was then its your fault for backing into them, but if they were moving then they're at fault for negligent driving. Hope the outcome is sweet for you; I'm with JustCars and I think this type of accident is rather common so I'm very interested to know.
  10. The damper kit is another option... you are right
  11. I seriously doubt that 1 click if noticeable to the human bum... but then my ass is not sensitive Umm, maybe the spring that makes it "click" has gone... could be that you're just screwing it instead of clicking? Try wind it all the down and see if it makes a difference?
  12. Hehe he says he's not going to mod
  13. QUESTION: what is the difference between a coupe spoiler and a sedan spoiler? And why are you taking yours off?
  14. So without the adaptor kit the pod will not fit on the cars? I'm interested, but will have to see how CAI box goes...
  15. No there is no tool... it should just turn and click. If it doesn't click, maybe you don't have the damper control?
  16. If you want a good job on FMIC install or any of the other stuff as well for a good price, PM me for details... not a workshop as such, but all qualified and has done installs on many cars (he did my FMIC and another one on R32 - DRFTD)
  17. Thanks guys... SK's setup looks to be quite complex Looks like I'm going to need quite a bit more parts (bungs etc.)
  18. Thanks mate... much appreciated!
  19. I'll need to T-piece the filter from the main line yes? That way the oil will still flow through the tube but have a filter for it to 'breathe' correct?
  20. Where can i get one of these readline filters o wise one and by the outlet you mean the blue nozzles yeah?
  21. Here you go matey... photos!
  22. So how much difference is there from hub to roller?
  23. Hey Greg; is there any harm in getting a bigger pump now instead of the smaller one? I know its rated for higher power figures which i currently don't have, but you never know in the future?
  24. I second that thought too...
