9/2003 NM35 ARX-4 Stagea. Excellent condition, 69000km. Second Australian owner. NSW rego Recently had 4 tyres fitted. Aftermarket turbo timer and reverse sensors fitted. i think you just disconnect the plug and the pump runs.....could be wrong. anyway it doesnt in my car atm. i powered up the pump and solenoid manually and bled the system, now have to see why the pump isnt being activated. anyone have a wiring diagram of the atessa system?

yeh that is how i do the gtrs and it works fine, must be something else that requires switching in this system. where is the solenoid, i bet its shut.

ok guys, having some issues bleeding the system. have gravity bled down to the bleeder at the pump, i then power the pump up and try to bleed at the box but not getting any pressure there. Is there a better way to do this?

hi guys, just replaced the atessa pump and was wondering what fluid is recommended. i know you can run atf style fluids but wanted to know what nissan specifies as it is $5000 worth of pump.

higher comp will give you more torque and mid range power, but will restrict the boost pressure & total ignition you can run.

oh yeah, and i didnt think id get another chance this year....

dont stress brus, i can get a billet rail made, only need the centre to centre measurements for the injectors and the injector o ring size you want to run. i could even dummy one up here. heres some pics of some rails we have made.

sounds just like mine lol. pulled the diff centre out last week, pulled the centre apart only to find it was assembled differently to the nismo expoded view pics. found workshop manual which then showed it was correct, so figured the nismo kit went together differently so re-assembled it as per the nismo instructions. (all in japanese mind you.) feels alot tighter on the bench, but ill see how it feels on the track. i tried to find some thicker pre-load shims but they dont do them for the gtr centre, only the gtst. even tried slipping an extra clutch disk in but wouldnt fit. put a good pair of second hand yokohamas on the front, will chenge the rears after a few skids on the weekend. also going to wire a reverse lockout button in as im a little cautious when hitting 5th gear as reverse gear is along side it. it has a lockout solenoid from factory, but only locks out reverse with ignition off. so wiring a momentary switch in so i have to press button to select reverse when ignition is on, otherwise reverse is locked out at all times.

times are close to where you would expect them with your current power and sixty foot times. tyres will improve your sixty foot time, and run if your currently getting wheel spin.

went through a little stage of depression. but decided to keep it for now. engine is back in car with new sump fitted and all is good. have organised a lsd shim kit off baron so should have that in and ready within the next week, just need to swap on some tyres then ready too go.
