  2. reason why i choose this route is because the majority of IC pipping is outside the engine bay and i didnt want to cut a hole in chassis ooohhh also to make room for td06
  3. i paid $50 for a 2nd hand r30 resistor pack as recommended by cubes, works fine

  6. very nice.. im going the exact opposite route to what u want.
  7. also dont forget the tune, it will also take a nice chunk out of that $3000.. and if your planning spending $3k then dont add up your costs to exactly $3k as i can assure you, you will need another couple hundred on top for things you havn't planned
  8. if your AFR is 12:1 you will still get some smoke, but its ok.. and no need for a SAFC if u have an Fcon

  18. nah i got your point.. just providing a different view hence
  19. because the price they quote is just for the essential items, all those possible DIY items just make the receipt look good i guess you just have to ask, never know... also pay and become an SAU NSW member which costs $55 and could recieve discounts that exceed that and your also a member, 2 birds 1 stone
  20. from my point of view theres nothing to think about.. i dont need a workshop to grease my hinges and add an extra 1/2 hours labour a charge for a couple squirts of grease. most places will give you a nice looking long list thats full of things that you could do yourself to make the reciept look pretty. fact is, it doesnt justify the high cost. i barely think it would cause a workshop to close down, if anything its charging extra for something stupid that would lead to it closing. i have a different point of view due to being around workshop most of my life and not needing their services much
  21. theres alot of bs on that list.. any mechanic can change a timing belt, you dont need a performance shop to do it
  22. you can definatley see the evoloution from r34... it's going to be a winner.
