I'm soooooo in !!!! I've been hanging out for a cruze for ages...especially now I have an 'R I think Jay's in too (he thinks he may have something on that weekend, but I'm sure we can sort something out).

Don't know if you want to break up the set, but I need one injector...one of mine just died (very odd apparently)...send me a pm if one's available. Cheers.

Well, looks like its going to the car yard next week since it hasn't sold yet and a GTR is calling me A bit sad, but thanks for the free bumps anyway fellas. Cheers.

I just bought a second-hand Hybrid setup, but the seller couldn't find the instructions/wiring connections. I was wondering if anyone out there with one of these units could email or mail me a copy of their instruction book. Cheers, James

BTW Jay and I have each got one of those handhelds. Repeater Channel 7 is probably the go to call on as it seems to work everywhere, but we should pick another one as well... Hey guys. Me and Jay got our Digitalk's on Thursday and we've been trying them out. They're great. Range is good, sound is good, the VOX seems to work well too. So far, they're even good on battery life (we're using 650mA NiMH AAA's bought from Jaycar). We're looking at doing a few mods too. Maybe fitting a socket in place of the standard antenna, so we can use a better after market one, and possibly a 5-10 Watt booster amp

Hey people, me and Jay just ordered two of the Digitalk ones with headsets. They'll be here by Thursday, so we'll let you know how they go. I've been looking at the different models, and the Digitalk ones are roughly equiv. to the Uniden 042 model, which is pretty good for about half the price. You can get them in Jaycar or Strathfield shops for $79 if you're interested, but Strathfield doesn't have the headsets. The guy in WA (where we ordered ours from) said he could do an even better price for 10 or more units, so he might be worth calling for group buys (he also has the Uniden ones cheaper than Dick Smith, etc).

Hey Shell, don't worry about the late thing, just gave us more time to drool over the GTR One thing that made things a lot easier is that most of the people have there SAU name on their number plates Might have to get some stickers for those of us that don't. The trip was unreal !!! We'll definately have to do that again real soon. Me and Jay are also up for some very informal Friday night cruising, if anyone else is interested...

Looks like I'm a little behind with the posts... (you must be getting sick of hearing this ) But thanks again to Shell and everyone else who had a hand in organising the trip. We need to have a lot more outings like this. It was great to meet so many people that are so enthusiastic about Skylines...its a shame we didn't have more time as I only got to talk to a few of you (guess I'll have to wait till the next one...) I've got a bunch of pics too, and if I manage to sort out my web site, I'll post them up. BTW Mark, I've seen a couple R31's getting around down here. I met a guy last year who owns a really nice black 2 door with an RB20DET in it....very nice. Last I saw it, it was for sale too. Also, me and Jay just bought a couple handhelds, so that should help with our sense of direction next time Anyhow, that's enough from me...

Cool, let me know the price of the plugs if you remember. I don't reckon it'd cost much different for a '33, so its probably worth asking. The price I got was at the last Summer Nats, so it shouldn't have changed much if at all. And yeah, I'm definately coming on the cruise on Sunday, so I guess I'll see you there (so many people to meet this time, it's going to be excellent )
