I got quoted $500 bucks for a repaint on a dented front quarter panel (Which wasn't being panel beated, just replaced) and a scrathed door AND I had to get the panel myself... thought that was a bit much!! So I just got the panel myself for eighty bucks, close enough colour, and used some dodgy touchup paint I found in the boot of my car in a very deep hole... Oh yeh was a cash job too.

Will moving my throttle position sensor change any of the air/fuel ratios in my 20DET? The reason I ask is, I had a high idle issue, I fixed my air regulator and the problem still was there, so tonight I unbolted the sensor and shifted it and the idle dropped to a much more desirable level, Now I want to know will it muck around with the ratios? I don't particulary feel like rebuilding.. Cheers

I think I may be in for this eh, have been waiting to try and drift on a track for ages. Sweet a month gives me time to buy new tires to replace the old ones. Sweet!!

Well that clears a lot up. How good is this fe2 suspension? It doesn't sound that great.. Yeh it would suck having the chopper after you.. you'd have no chance unless you wait for it to run out of fuel! Or just stop in the first place.

Well thats interesting! Haha, those highway SS' worry me, are there any cars over here like that? I know they were trialing the use of the super wicked fast pursuit cars over here as highway patrol, what have they had done?

I think the engines prolly put out around 200kw if they are VZ's with a chip. The suspension is what interests me too. From personal experience last night it seems as though it didn't handle too well on back roads - big fast sweepers with a few sharp corners every now and then.. Couldn't cope with them. 2.5 t's sounds a bit excessive too! fark! Its like a landcruiser!

Fark, my 32 gets 170 - 175 in 3rd, then about another 5 - 10k's in 4th before limiter, after that who knows!! will need to take the limiter out and get a better speedo!

I thought that was the case, they are just mounted differently - facing upwards in 32 and facing rear of car in the 33. Cool, cheers guys, I will let him know.

AAAH so thats why it wont be audible at the moment? Ooh.. that would explain why mine is so loud then.. I didn't think changing any of the plumbing setups would be effective/safe... Is there much difference between the BOV's on 33's & 32's besides the way they are mounted? Thats simple then, I will tell him to get a POD sooner rather than the later he had planned.

This is a question for my mate with his S1 R33, is there anyway of modifying the standard BOV so that it makes a noise, Im not too sure with the standard R33 BOV's whether they are very loud or not, because his isnt at the moment. We did try by having the plumback pipe disconnected, but the engine wouldn't idle very well and would stall. We also tried by blanking the mount point off on the crossover pipe and running it just through the plumback pipe. I was concerned about my mates car getting flutter from doing this so I put the valve back on as standard. Is the valve supposed to make a noise, even though it is plumback? My R32 BOV makes a hell of a noise and it is plumback... How would I get it to make noise for him or should I just tell him to get an aftermarket one?

I really wanna get one of these valves, but concerned about about what kind of boost i can run. I have 3" zorst, pod and soon a 600X300X79 front mount cooler. At the moment it is reading at 10psi, but spikes to 11psi sometimes, and 12 psi flatout in 5th. whats safe for me to run?

Torque was also another very bad movie. I am a motorcycle fan myself and I felt ****ing ripped off after the first 5 minutes. Complete Rubbish. Biker boyz also.

32's are better.... In my opinion. Don't mention fuel economy on this forum! I don't bother checking anymore, it isnt that great. I don't know what has been done to my 32 besides zorst & pod, but it wastes my mates 33. His is stock as tho, but mine has had very little done to it as well. I prefer the look of the 32 GTSt. 33 GTR looks alright tho.

I need to get rid of my R30, it is unlicensed and the auto tranny has gone boom. Didn't wanna put in whole cars for sale section as it would suit parts. Oh yeh - has no bonnet. New radiator too. $150 bucks or similar. It is towable. Really wanna sell it all at once as it is killing the grass. Im in beechboro.

Hahaha funny you mention that predator... I work for a diesel engine company, so getting the silicon hoses and clamps aren't an issue, thank fark for staff discount! Will be heading to bunnings soon to get lower support bars for my cooler. Just wish we sold piping or even intercoolers at work!!

Nice, okay how much does this mild steel coated in ceramic crap generally cost? Im guessing I should just go to a zorst shop to get some.. How much boost would you guys estimate i can run SAFELY with this cooler and standard turbo combo, I know it also depends on other mods too, but how much roughly... what do you guys run?
